(NPS), have partnered with St Andrews Healthcare to deliver Community Sentence
treatment Requirements as part of a Mental Health Treatment Requirement initiative. This is a unique opportunity to work as a Qualified
Psychologist embedded in probation offices in the Norfolk region. </p><p>Within this role you will support
and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the Criminal
Justice System (CJS); providing psychological assessment and psychological
interventions, working independently according to a plan agreed and within the
overall framework MHTRs, and St Andrews policies and procedures.</p><p>The service is psychology-led and
holds psychological assessment and formulation, as well as the service users we
work with, at the core of everything it offers.</p><p>Experience of using a range of
therapeutic modalities including CBT, EMDR and Compassion Focused Therapy would
also be an advantage although support and development to gain these skills will
be provided.</p>

  <p><strong>Outpatient Services</strong></p><p>Our service specialises in developing
and delivering community based services for St Andrews. We offer a range
of services including, a busy private therapy clinic, a Medico-Legal Service,
Diagnostic Assessment Clinics (ADHD and ASD), a Complex Trauma Service for
Military Veterans, a community transition service and a range of MHTR services
across the midlands and east of England. We support LightBulb a schools based
mental wellness programme and are able to offer a comprehensive development
plan for those wishing to gain a range of experience.</p><p><strong>The Role and Person</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for delivering
outcome based psychological therapy that is uniquely tailored to meet the needs
of service users living in the region.You will supervise a number of
assistant psychologist supporting them in a manualised treatment approach,
whilst working with the wider team on more complex cases. You will be offered
supervision from a consultant Psychologist working within our service, they
will encourage you to develop your strengths and skills with opportunities for
professional development. </p><p>The service is community based and
appointments are offered where possible in the service users locality as well
as remotely via telephone and video. As some travel will be required, a
full drivers licence is essential or access to good public transport links.
However, in return, you will also benefit from having the flexibility to

  <p>This post sits within the Children and Young Peoples Learning Disability Service within Mindworks at Surrey and Borders. The Children's LD Service is a Surrey County Wide Service, with 4 bases: Redhill Leatherhead Chertsey and Godalming. <p>The service is a friendly welcoming and supportive Team, made up of Nurses Psychology Music Therapy and Psychiatry along with Admin colleagues. There is a monthly Business Meeting and twice monthly clinical issues meeting, with a quarterly LD Forum.</p>
<p>The post holder will hold a case load of young people and provide appropriate interventions / support. This will include working with the family/ carers and wider MDT to ensure a consistency of approach. The post holder will also provide regular supervision to the AP based in the geographical area. They will be supported by the Clinical Psychologist in their development. Alongside regular supervision and appraisal with an identified development plan. The post holder will also contribute to the service ASD Pathway and any other pathways that are appropriate.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The post is based in the Eating Disorders Service at The Barberry in Edgbaston. A major aspect of the role involves developing and delivering digital packages of interventions with a view of improving patients' access to timely and high-quality psychological help and psychoeducation. This post will also provide opportunities for researching and trialling other creative ways of supporting eating disorder recovery such as use of social media or liaising with other agencies. It will therefore suit somebody with proficient IT skills and keen interest in creative use of modern technologies for health promotion. Alongside development of new materials and contributing to more innovative service delivery, this post will also involve direct clinical work. This may range from delivering aforementioned digitalised courses alongside using more traditional manual-based interventions as appropriate, according to levels of skills and experience. The post holder is likely to also co-facilitate group programmes alongside multidisciplinary colleagues. </p>
<p>Being allied to the multi-disciplinary team in the Eating Disorders Service, the post holder will act as a member of the team, attend meetings and contribute to informing patients' psychological care within the team. The post holder will be closely supervised and supported by an experienced psychological professional in the Eating Disorders Service.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Under the supervision of a qualified and suitably experienced psychologist:</p>
<p>- To support development, delivery and evaluation of e-learning packages for patients at various stages of their recovery. This will necessitate the substantive use of IT equipment, software and web-based packages.</p>
<p>-  To support development and implementation of digitalised outcome measure collection</p>
<p>- To be involved in researching and trialling other creative ways for health promotion and maintenance such as use of social media and linking with third sector agencies</p>
<p>-  To support colleagues and patients in adopting new technologies and ways of working</p>
<p>-  To also provide more traditional manual-based cognitive behavioural interventions with clients such as guided self-help and CBT-T as well as other short-term discrete pieces of psychological work as appropriate, according to levels of skills and experience.</p>
<p>-  To take part in the facilitation of the group programme, including planning and running of therapeutic groups online and face to face</p>
<p>-  To attend clinical reviews and other multi-disciplinary meetings</p>
<p>- To attend regular individual clinical supervision</p>
<p>- To undertake specific duties as appointed pertaining to service governance objectives including timely record keeping, data collection and analysis, report writing and presentation.</p>
<p>- To undertake/contribute to teaching, training, health promotion research and related activities of the service.</p>
