  <p>Essex SET MID CAMHS has an opportunity for 2 qualified professionals to step into an established role within a diverse and experienced team.</p>
<p>The Mid Essex CAMHS team has a base in Chelmsford and covers the surrounding areas including Braintree, Maldon, Southminster and Halstead. The successful applicants would be based in Chelmsford but expected to cover our satellite clinics in Braintree, Halstead and Maldon.</p>
<p>The CAMHS Practitioner role supports the development and implementation of a range of interventions within the Thrive Model as indicated by SET CAMHS and NICE guidance e.g CBT, DBT, trauma informed.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will demonstrate thorough assessment skills including care planning and risk formulation. You will be able to provide a variety of one to one and group treatments and include the use of outcome measures and goal setting to track progress. Experience of working within multi-agency frameworks would be advantageous. This post would suit clinicians with good experience in working with young people who present with complexity and significant levels of risk, and can work with the wider systems including education, social care and family/carers.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>  <li>Skilled in assessment, formulation, management and delivery of NICE recommended treatments to children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties in the community.</li>  <li>Experienced in assessing / managing clinical risk, drawing on dynamic case formulation skills and working collaboratively with service users to agree their treatment and safety plans.</li>  <li>Possess a current Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapist, Counselling, Psychotherapy or equivalent professional qualification and be skilled/experienced in the delivery of evidence-based approaches to therapy (including DBT/CBT/Systemic/trauma informed). </li>  <li>Have knowledge, understanding and experience of working with the legal frameworks which relate to the care and treatment of children and young people, with particular reference to Children Act 1989, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended in 2007.</li>  <li>Possess the ability to work independently as well as being a collaborative and supportive member of the Multi-disciplinary Team and have an understanding and appreciation of the networks that surround young people in a modern age, especially in relation to mental health and mental health crisis.</li> </ul>   <h3>About us</h3>
  <p><strong>Starting with NELFT</strong>NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.</p> <p><strong>Probationary Period </strong>This post will be subject to a probationary period.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Gloucestershire Mental Health Support Team for the recruitment of Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner's (EMHP) or Children's Wellbeing Practitioners.</p>

<p>Successful candidates will be employed on a full-time basis based within Gloucestershire, and will play a key role as members of the Mental Health Support Team, who will have the responsibility for delivering schools' overarching approach to providing mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Practitioner, to join our award winning ongoing developing CCETTS Team based in Lincoln.</p> <p>Our service covers areas across North of Lincolnshire so having a means to travel is essential.</p> <p>We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals to join our award-winning team. You will be providing crisis and enhanced home treatment for young people struggling with acute deteriorating mental health difficulties, including self-harm, suicidal ideation, eating disorders/ disordered eating and psychosis. Our team looks at providing an alternative to a tier 4 admission and supporting those being discharged from an acute inpatient admission following an episode of care.</p> <p>The role will include providing Crisis Assessments, 1:1 therapeutic intervention; utilising DBT and CBT skills, providing Emotional First Aid group work, and psycho- education with parents and Carers.</p> <p>You will work closely with our CAMHs Mental Health Liaison service.</p> <p>You will be expected to work a shift pattern on a Rota basis covering 7 days per week: 08:45-19:00hrs.</p>

  <p>To provide a high standard of community clinical care, ensuring safe and effective assessment, treatment and comprehensive discharge planning using highly developed clinical reasoning skills and appropriate assessment tools</p> <p>Provide rapid response to children/young people presenting with urgent and emergency mental health presentations over a 24/7 rota.</p> <p>Work as part of a team managing referrals for assessment and intensive community treatmentfor young people experiencing a mental health crisis or at risk of hospital admission.</p> <p>Act as bed co-ordinators for out-of-county placements.</p> <p>Support the Access Assessment of new referrals for in-patient beds.</p> <p>Act as lead professional for complex cases within the team.</p> <p>Engage with young people to provide mental health and risk assessment, risk management plans, and taking appropriate therapeutic risk for young people following crisis.</p> <p>Provide full assessment and collaborative care planning for implementation by the multi-disciplinary team, in partnership with young people/carers and other workers involved in care delivery.</p> <p>Work in accordance with relevant childcare, health legislation and professional standards in partnership with wider children's services and to engage fully with Safeguarding, Common Assessment Framework and other processes which requires working together with other agencies.</p>

<p>We are looking to recruit Education Mental Health Practitioners in training to be part of a dynamic forward-thinking innovative team that works into schools and colleges. We have posts available in both Hull and East Riding, preference will be discussed at interview.</p>
<p>The Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is part of a national rollout and has delivered successful result in the Hull and East Riding since January 2021. The MHST is part of the Thrive approach to Children and Young peoples mental health framework endorsed through the Emotional and Mental Wellbeing Academy.</p>
<p>The MHST supports schools , colleges and the wider system through advice , support , consultation, whole schools approaches staff raining and targeted interventions using CBT.</p>
<p>The successful candidates will embark on a one-year training course at an identified University to gain a post graduate diploma qualification. The role will be a combination of learning through an active caseload in service, university lectures, portfolio work and assignments.</p>
<p>Successful candidates must be prepared to step into post January and February 2026.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidates will become part of a dedicated team of qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners and Senior Practitioners from multi-disciplinary backgrounds.</p>
<p>The successful candidates will access university for two days a week to undertake learning through face to face and online lectures and experiences.</p>
<p>Under supervision for two days a week the post holders will hold a small caseload to deliver outcome focused evidence-based interventions for children, young people and families experiencing mild to moderate emotional and mental health needs.</p>
<p>The training and service experience aims to equip the post holder with the necessary knowledge, attitude and capabilities to operate effectively in an inclusive, passionate innovative MHST.</p>
<p>The post holder must attend all university based taught and self-study days over a year that is required by the education provider, as specified within the agreed national curriculum and work in the service for the remaining 3 days of the week using their newly developed skills, knowledge and understanding supported by their supervisors and other qualified EMHP's.</p>
<p>On successful completion of the course post holders will move from a band 4 salary to a band 5.</p>
