  <p></p><p><strong>An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic therapy team. We are looking for a part time position (3 days a week) for a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant within our Adult SLT Service. We work with patients in their own homes, in clinics at inpatient neuro-rehabilitation and in Lister Hospital.</strong></p>
<p>The post-holder will need to be organised, enthusiastic, a good communicator and will have previous experience in a rehabilitation or care delivery setting. You will be assisting in the rehabilitation of patients with a wide range of neurological needs (including physical, communication and cognitive) which may include both individual sessions and group work. You will be working closely with the Speech and Language Therapists and a wider MDT including the medical team, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Nurses. You will need to be able to keep accurate clinical records and have good clerical/ administrative skills.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p></p><p>The post-holder will be responsible for supporting Speech and Language Therapists with the assessment and management of adults with acquired communication, speech, language or eating and drinking disorders.</p>
<p>You will carry out therapy plans with patients who may have a range of diagnoses including stroke, Parkinson's, dementia, Motor Neuron disease and other progressive neurological conditions. You will need to build excellent rapport with patients and providing them with a high level of care.</p>
<p>You will need to be able to keep accurate clinical records and have good clerical/ administrative skills.</p>
<p>You will support the team with resource building, such as low tech augmentative and alternative communication aids (AAC).</p>
<p>You will help to run communication groups alongside other SLTAs.</p>
<p>The Speech and Language Therapy Service in East &amp; North Hertfordshire is an integrated acute and community service covering community clinics, inpatient Neurological Rehabilitation and the Acute and Stroke teams based at the Lister Hospital. There are frequent opportunities for gaining skills in other areas and career progression.</p>

This is a post within an established Mental Health Support Team in Luton. Your role will help to develop and deliver a wide range of interventions, projects and system changes, with the aim of the whole school and whole community approaches supporting young people's mental health.   <p></p><p>You would be joining a comprehensive and dynamic CAMH service, delivering a substantial stepped model of care following the needs-led i-Thrive framework. There are a number of posts across the whole of Central Bedfordshire. Your role will help to develop and deliver a wide range of interventions, projects and system changes with the aim of the whole community approaches to supporting young people's mental health. These are newly funded roles that are community based, whose aim is to offer an Early Intervention service for Young People whose complexities cannot be served by our 5 Mental health in Support Teams but do not reach the threshold for core CAMHS. You will be providing comprehensive consultations, assessments, risk management and interventions for young people experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties. The post-holder will also clinically supervise colleagues. There may be an option of supervisor training at Reading University which we would strongly encourage post holders to take up.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p></p><p>We are looking for confident CAMHS professionals with a demonstrable track record, within CAMHS, of providing good quality evidence-based interventions and improving service quality. You will be a Mental Health Nurse, Systemic Family Psychotherapist, Psychologist, Arts Psychotherapist, Social Worker, Child Psychotherapist, CBT Therapist, Counsellor or Occupational Therapist with the requisite professional registration. We welcome applicants who have experience of working or living in Central Bedfordshire.</p> <p>There is a national focus on increasing the reach of Early Intervention for Children and Young People with the aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community. In line with the recently published NHS 10 Year Plan we have an ambition to increase more access to early Intervention to all Young people in Central Bedfordshire and improve the general culture of emotional support to all Young people and their families. Working alongside community partners and our Mental Health Support Teams your team will be fully integrated with community CAMHS and educational settings.</p>

  <p></p><p><strong>Are you a newly qualified/soon to qualify Psychological professional looking for a new role in adult mental health? Or someone Psychological professional wanting to develop your systemic therapy skills?</strong></p>
<p>We are recruiting a part-time <strong>Clinical/Counselling Psychologist</strong>or <strong>Psychological Therapist</strong> with training in Systemic Psychotherapy or willingness to train in systemic therapy, to provide psychological assessments and interventions for adults with severe and/or complex mental health problems, their families and carers. This role is <strong>part-time working 30 hours per week.</strong></p>
<p>We also welcome applications from Clinical/Counselling Psychologists, or Psychological Therapists who are due to qualify soon.</p>
<p>Our enthusiastic, skilled and supportive team provides a range of therapies. You would contribute to the work of the team by joining the highly valued family therapy clinic and undertaking group and individual therapy with people seeking formulation-based CBT for developmental trauma and other complex difficulties.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p></p><p>You should be able to demonstrate your use of evidence-based practice in specialist adult mental health settings, including competence in cognitive-behavioural and third wave approaches and systemic interventions. If not already accredited, you will be willing to work towards accreditation with an accrediting body such as BABCP and/or AFT for which you will be fully supported.</p>
<p>As a member of Specialist Psychological Therapies you will work closely with colleagues in our adult mental health community and in-patient teams. You will also liaise with and support psychological therapists working at earlier steps in the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway. You will work with the Clinical Lead, Locality Leads, Team Manager and your team to ensure that the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway achieves its key objectives of delivering integrated, safe, accessible, responsive, effective and caring services to people in Buckinghamshire. You will ensure the service you provide is of a high quality and meets national guidance as well as meeting local and nationally agreed targets.</p>
<p>Please note if you are based outside of the UK you will need to hold HCPC registration in order to be considered for this role. The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.</p>
