This is a challenging, stimulating and rewarding post working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team within the bone health service. The post holder will assess patients for bone health treatments, completing drug education and screening for these treatments and referring for necessary examinations such as DEXA scans. Patients will be assessed in face to face and telephone clinics, as well as home visits when required. In addition, you will be involved in data collection for the National Fracture Liaison Service Database.&nbsp; This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week working remotely and 3 days based onsite in Oldham. About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant who can take the reins to cover a period of maternity leave. You’ll be responsible for ensuring two directors are fully supported with their busy workload by handling their diary management, fulfilling reporting requirements, preparing meeting documents and taking minutes as well as delivering or supporting on key project work. Counsellors&nbsp;on Placement provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools. As an organisation that has adopted the BACP ethical framework of good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, counsellors working within the organisation are dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of the children they work with.
<ul type="disc">
 <li>Place2Be provides a high level of support to counsellors on placement through regular supervision, tailored training workshops and offers a well-recognised clinical placement*.</li>
 <li>We provide a comprehensive induction programme and clinical supervision is undertaken at the end of each day.</li>
 <li>We need you to be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.</li>
 <li>Placements are term time only and run for one academic year. There are opportunities for you to stay with us beyond one year.</li>
 <li>You will have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year which are recognised as continuing professional development time.</li>
 <li>Sessions spent with children are accepted as clinical hours towards professional accreditation, and are recognised by the BACP and UKCP.</li>
 <li>A placement is an excellent stepping stone into a job opportunity and career with Place2Be, over&nbsp;⅔&nbsp;of our clinical staff were once Counsellors on Placement.</li>
 <li>We have places available in our projects in both primary and secondary schools nationwide.</li>

*Counting your hours
All clinical hours gained on placement can be used towards accreditation with a body such as BACP and UKCP. However if you need to gain clinical hours for your course, we would strongly advise that you check with your course tutor as to whether child hours are accepted before applying. Psychosexual Psychotherapist

We currently seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker for our client in Barnet on a 3 month contract to start ASAP. The rate of pay will be negotiated between 22-23 an hour. This will be Full Time Contract, Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:00. As a Recovery Worker you will be required to: <ul> <li>Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey;</li> <li>Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral;</li> <li>Reducing alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community;</li> <li>Promoting carer, service user and community involvement;</li> <li>Providing advocacy for access to partnership services;</li> <li>Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self determination.</li> </ul> An Enhanced Adults and Children's DBS will be required for this position.

Sounds great, what will I be doing? You will be supporting service users with complex needs to build independence and take control of there wellbeing, facilitating there recovery and supporting them on there journey. This service currently requires people to "sleep in" at the service. You will be dealing with incidents and recording your interactions with service users. What do I need to bring with me? You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application. Here's what the team will be looking for We are seeking people with either experience in supporting people with will mental health or a Psychology qualification and some applied experience supporting people in person. You need to have a can do attitude and a willingness to learn and put service users first. We operate a trauma informed and service user led support function which requires you to have good empathy and being open minded.
