The Aseptic Services Senior Pharmacist is responsible for leading, managing, and developing the pharmacy technical services unit to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant preparation of sterile medicinal products under our Specials Manufacturing license.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The postholder oversees day-to-day GMP activities, supervises and trains pharmacy staff and technicians, ensures quality assurance procedures are maintained. The postholder also will lead on the validation and qualification of state of the art manufacturing equipment to ensure GMP compliance. They role act as the key liaison between the customers, clinical teams and the production unit, providing pharmaceutical advice on the use of injectable therapies, chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, and other sterile products.</p>

Senior Pharmacist Aseptic Services

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>This is an exciting opportunity to work within a newly commissioned pan-London Men's Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR) service to reduce custodial sentences and improve the wellbeing of men in the criminal justice system with mental health needs. Mental Health Treatment Requirements (MHTRs) were introduced by the Criminal Justice Act in 2003, recognising that for many individuals who offend, mental health and substance misuse issues underpin their offending behaviour. Treatment requirements offer courts an alternative to short custodial sentences and aim to prevent reoffending by addressing underlying vulnerabilities and improving quality of life. This service aims to increase the use of primary care treatment requirements as part of a community sentence, offering psychologically informed interventions and advice. The MHTR Service will also provide the courts with information and confidence to sentence to robust and effective treatment requirements.</p> <p>North London Forensic Collaborative is the largest forensic Provider Collaborative in England and is a partnership between forensic services within five NHS Trusts including: North London NHS Foundation Trust - Lead Provider; Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust; East London NHS Foundation Trust; North East London NHS Foundation Trust and West London NHS Trust.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This band 7 post will be hosted by North East London NHS Foundation Trust as part of a team that will work across the whole of North East London. Some of the posts in the team are hosted by NELFT and some ELFT.</p> <p>North London Forensic Collaborative are looking for three 1.0 WTE band 7 Psychologists or Psychological Therapists. NELFT is recruiting to one of these posts which will be responsible for assessing for suitability and making recommendations for MHTRs across North East London; and for delivering short-term psychological interventions for those that are sentenced to an MHTR. There are two equivalent posts being recruited to via CNWL and we expect the services to work closely together to ensure that there is consistency in the MHTR service being offered across London.</p> <p>The successful candidates will hold a clinical caseload and be responsible for supervision of the senior Assistant Psychologist team. We hope to recruit a staff team reflective of the population we serve and welcome applications from those with protected characteristics, including minoritised ethnic groups. Candidates will be considered for all NLFC posts at interview.   <p>We currently have an exciting opportunity for a new post of Paediatric Art Psychotherapist working with the Paediatric Liaison Team at the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel. The Paediatric Liaison Team, is a multidisciplinary team supporting the mental health needs of young people with physical health conditions under the care of the Royal London Hospital. </p> <p>The successful candidate will lead on developing an offer of art therapies for children and young people referred to the paediatric liaison team. They will provide specialist assessment and intervention to children and their families who are under the care of a wide range of paediatric teams, particularly to children who may have difficulties accessing talking therapies. The post holder will offer specialist advice and consultation on art based intervention to PLT and paediatric colleagues and contributing to psychologically informed care as part of the MDT. The post will also include liaison with external agencies and offering input to families who are both inpatient and in the community. There will be opportunities for service development and working closely with the MDT to offer new interventions, such as groups and workshops for children and their families. </p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Paediatric Liaison Team is a multidisciplinary team, including clinical and counselling psychologists, psychiatry and mental health nursing, which provides assessment, intervention and consultation for young people experiencing mental health difficulties or emotional distress associated with a physical health conditions who are under the care of the Royal London Hospital.</p> <p>This post has been piloted and has proven successful in demonstrating benefits of delivering art psychotherapy/art therapy within the paediatric liaison team to CYP and their families with physical health needs. The post holder will work closely with the clinical leads of the team to identify areas of need and suitability for art psychotherapy and to evaluate the outcomes of these interventions.</p> <p>They will be responsible for personally providing an expert level clinical service with a focus on Art Psychotherapy assessment and intervention for children and young people with physical health needs. The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating Art Psychotherapy interventions within the multidisciplinary approach, both with the wider paediatric liaison team and with medical teams and play specialists and contribute to holistic care within the MDT.</p>

  <p>The Art Psychotherapist role is a new role set up with funding from the South East London MHLDA Quality Improvement Plan. The overall aim of this plan is to ensure that service users in the inpatient services can be supported in the most effective way through a holistic and inclusive therapeutic care environment. This role will be based across both Bexley and Bromley inpatient sites.</p>    <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

To support in the assessment, differential diagnosis and management of patients with tracheostomy who have swallowing and communication impairments, and to provide specialist input to these patients where weaning from the tracheostomy is problematic. To work independently to fulfil the core responsibilities identified below. To ensure effective joint working with the Multi-Disciplinary Teams in the management and discharge planning of these patients. To provide training and/or support to other professionals concerning swallowing or communication problems. To contribute to the development of clinical guidelines which are based upon sound evidence. To undertake audit and outcome projects with the supervision of the Head of SLT. You will be providing a service to children with visual conditions and their families. </p> <p>The successful candidate will provide a specialist clinical psychology service to children and families referred to the Ophthalmology team at GOSH, working closely with consultants and allied health professionals. The role includes provision of psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions on a predominantly outpatient basis.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>What we can offer:</strong></p> <p>You will be working with the Surgery &amp; Development Stream (a team of paediatric clinical psychologists) who offer psychological input to children under the care of thirteen medical specialties. In addition to your work with the Ophthalmology team you will contribute to the flexible delivery of psychology services across the stream, in response to new developments and organisational changes. </p> <p>We are one of three paediatric psychology streams within the hospital and sit within the wider psychological and mental health services. </p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a psychology team we draw on a range of therapeutic modalities including Narrative, CBT, Systemic, ACT, compassion focussed therapy. There are opportunities to work in creative, formulation-driven ways with young people and families. You will be offering individual, family, parent and group psychological interventions, as well as working within GOSH MDTs and with external agencies.</p> <p>There is a strong commitment to continuing professional development in line with job planning. A range of academic teaching is offered within the department as well as special interest groups in medicalised trauma, medically unexplained symptoms, narrative therapy, cognitive assessment, and others.
