  <p>We are looking to appoint a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to principally work at CAMHS The Beacon Inpatient Unit, and also to support the CAMHS Crisis Team at times when the number of young people occupying inpatient beds is below capacity.</p><p>The Beacon Inpatient CAMHS Unit is a 15-bedded facility based at the Bradgate Hospital site at Leicester Glenfield Hospital on the north side of Leicester.</p><p>For more information about CAMHS services in Leicester please click here:

You will be joining a vibrant professional group of nine Family and Systemic Psychotherapists who work across a range of outpatient teams.</p><p>Systemic Supervision will be provided and in addition you will be able to join a family therapy clinic, working with another Family and Systemic Psychotherapist.</p><p>The team at The Beacon Unit currently consists of clinicians across a wide range of disciplines: Psychiatry, Psychology, Dietetics, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy. Systemic Psychotherapy has been a valued and integral part of the team for many years. </p>

  <p>Staff work closely with CAMHS Specialist Teams, Outpatient, Inpatient and Adult services, while also having connections with the wider MDT within the community.</p><p>We offer early specialist assessment and intervention using evidence-based approaches to young people up to the age of 18 years old and their families.</p><p>We are especially keen to hear from candidates who reflects the diverse communities we serve.</p><p>Some of the duties you will undertake within this role include:</p><ul><li>To undertake detailed &amp; highly specialist psychological and systemic assessments of children and families. You will work as a multidisciplinary team of Consultants in Rehabilitation Medicine, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Speech &amp; Language Therapists, Counsellor and Psychologist.</p>

  <p>As a Physiotherapist who is a Botulinum Toxin Injector for Spasticity, the post holder will work across all 7 services within Specialist Clinics but will predominantly work within Spasticity Clinic.</p> <p>The purpose of the role is to provide robust clinical and professional leadership ensuring that the clinical strategic aims and objectives for the Service are delivered and achieved.</p> <p>The post holder will assess, treat, and manage patients as appropriate and in keeping with their clinical expertise and they will work with all services to provide dedicated support to patients.</p> <p>The post holder will provide clinical expertise and leadership to the Specialist Clinics service within Birmingham Community Healthcare (BCHC) NHS Foundation Trust.</p>

  <p><strong>Band 7 Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist</strong></p> <p>The post holder will provide specialist psychoanalytic child psychotherapy assessment and treatment to children, young people and their families and carers across clinical pathways within CAMHS. The post holder will be required to provide initial CAMHS assessments, offering consultation and supervision as appropriate to colleagues, within and external to the organisation in accordance with best practice.   <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable senior DBT therapist or clinical / counselling psychologist trained in DBT, with a particular interest in family therapy work.</p> <p>CASCADE is an all-ages (14+)DBT service, delivering comprehensive, adapted and DBT-informed therapies, to treat core difficulties associated with severe emotional dysregulation, complex PTSD and otherco-occurring presentations related to an Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder. </p> <p>Essential criteria for this post include being trained in DBT, leadership skills, experience of supervising others, and a flexible working approach. The postholder will be expected to work collaboratively, possess excellent planning and organisational skills, contribute towards and support the delivery of service development initiatives, and demonstrate autonomous professional responsibility for all aspects of their work. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will join a growing team of new and experienced DBT therapists delivering comprehensive DBT, adapted DBT models such as DBT-PE, DBT for cPTSD, RO-DBT and other DBT-informed interventions.You will work across both the CYP and Adult DBT programmes providing individual therapy, skills training groups and telephone coaching. Additionally, you will offer specialist psychological assessments and formulations, as well as provide consultation and advice to staff teams on DBT and behavioural principles to shape environments to support clients' adaptive behaviours. As part of your role, you will be responsible for ensuring the inclusion of family and carers throughout, and for the planning and implementation of direct family work where appropriate. An interest in or experience of family therapy or delivering DBT-informed interventions and psychoeducational groups to family and carers will be desirable. </p>
