			<p>The post holder will be an experienced engineer with proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot IT incidents. You will be supporting the process of maintaining, configuring, and sending out IT equipment to staff as well as providing technical input into project work (as required). Someone who wants to take on more responsibility and take the initiative to improve IT, automate and simply IT Service Desk processes. This role will involve lifting and moving of IT equipment and may involve being flexible with working hours.</p>

<strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong>

    <li>To provide technical support including:&nbsp;</li>
    <li>Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software problems, including installation and configuration&nbsp;</li>
    <li>To create and manage accounts in Entra (Azure Active Directory)&nbsp;</li>
    <li>To maintain security of Place2Be’s IT assets and the safety, confidentiality and integrity of data held within.&nbsp;</li>
    <li>To assist in maintaining an inventory of computer assets, accessories, peripherals, and software licenses.&nbsp;</li>
    <li>To perform daily operational tasks such as AV equipment checks and printer checks.&nbsp;</li>
    <li>To contribute to the Service Desk knowledge base.&nbsp;</li>
    <li>To support the process of configuring and sending out IT equipment to staff including creating user accounts and setting up IT equipment.&nbsp;</li>
    <li>Have ownership of IT Hardware, ensure equipment is ready and available and identify repairs and arrange disposal collections.&nbsp;</li>

<strong>What you will need:&nbsp;</strong><br>

    <li>Excellent organisation interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with people at different levels of the organisation.&nbsp;</li>

    <li><strong>We recruit for Counsellors to start in school in January, April or September in line with school term time. Please note the recruitment and onboarding process can take 2-3 months.</strong></li>

<p>Counsellors&nbsp;on Placement provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools. As an organisation that has adopted the BACP ethical framework of good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, counsellors working within the organisation are dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of the children they work with.</p>
<ul type="disc">
    <li>Place2Be provides a high level of support to counsellors on placement through regular supervision, tailored training workshops and offers a well-recognised clinical placement*.</li>
    <li>We provide a comprehensive induction programme and clinical supervision is undertaken at the end of each day.</li>
    <li>We need you to be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.</li>
    <li>Placements are term time only and run for one academic year. There are opportunities for you to stay with us beyond one year.</li>
    <li>You will have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year which are recognised as continuing professional development time.</li>
    <li>Sessions spent with children are accepted as clinical hours towards professional accreditation, and are recognised by the BACP and UKCP.</li>
    <li>A placement is an excellent stepping stone into a job opportunity and career with Place2Be, over&nbsp;⅔&nbsp;of our clinical staff were once Counsellors on Placement.</li>
    <li>We have places available in our projects in both primary and secondary schools nationwide.</li>

<p>*<strong>Counting your hours</strong></p>
<p>All clinical hours gained on placement can be used towards accreditation with a body such as BACP and UKCP. However if you need to gain clinical hours for your course, we would strongly advise that you check with your course tutor as to whether child hours are accepted before applying. If your course does not accept child hours but you would like to gain counselling experience of working with Children and Young People, you can still apply for a Place2Be placement as a second placement.</p>

<p>The Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapy team in Oxleas NHS Foundation trust is an established, active, diverse and creative group that meets regularly, offers opportunities for CPD, holds an annual conference and welcomes innovatory ideas and collaborations.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The postholder will join a thriving group of child psychotherapists in Bromley CAMHS and in Oxleas Trust. Theywill provide an efficient, effective, comprehensive and highly specialist child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapy assessment and treatment service for children and adolescents with severe, highly complex and persistent mental health problems, their carers/parents and families.</p>
<p>The postholder will provide consultation, teaching, and training to multi-disciplinary staff within the CAMHS team and to staff of related agencies (health, education, social services, voluntary sector, and youth criminal justice system).</p>

<li>To provide highly specialist psychoanalytic psychotherapy assessment for children and adolescents with severe, highly complex and persistent mental health problems, and their carers/parents and families, and to make decisions about treatment options taking into account relevant evidence-based research, theory, practice and highly complex factors concerning historical and developmental processes which have shaped the child/adolescent, their parents/carers and family.</li>
<li>To provide highly specialist brief, medium and long-term psychoanalytic psychotherapy for children and adolescents with severe, complex and persistent mental health problems. Due to the nature of their difficulties, these children and young people may be hard to engage, and may have received other interventions, or be working with medical or community colleagues offering physical therapist or other forms of specialist treatments. It is recognised that they may need a range of interventions that may include a more intensive and in-depth therapy to reach their deep-rooted mental health difficulties.</li>
<li>To provide in depth risk-assessments of young people who are a risk to themselves / and or others and to be able to formulate short-term crisis planning, (which may involve some outreach working), in order to provide support that will enable the young person to engage with on-going treatment at a later stage.</li>
