  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Psychology service at Stockton Hall Hospital. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Consultant Psychologist, with robust experience within a forensic setting; someone who is a confident leader and is keen to develop to contribute to service development, including trauma informed care.</p><p>At Stockton Hall Hospital, just outside York, we are well-known for producing positive clinical outcomes for highly complex patients. We currently provide a medium-secure care setting in which patients access a broad range of therapeutic interventions including one-to-one and group-based psychological treatments.</p><p>Our service has produced excellent recovery results for patients, maximising their opportunity to progress to conditions of lower-security and community settings as safely and efficiently as possible.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul> <li>You will be a confident leader who is keen to help develop others.</li> <li>You will understand the dynamics of working in a secure hospital and be able to help offer containment and support to those who need it within a culture of compassion.</li> <li>You will provide professional leadership to the psychology team, contribute to the development of services and work to influence organisational thinking relating to the delivery of psychologically informed care.</li> <li>You will advise at a senior management level on psychological aspects of organisational functioning, including the health and well-being of our colleagues.</li> <li>You will also work clinically with a dynamic multi-professional team leading development of individual formulations and psychological assessment. We are therefore looking for applicants who either have experience in Early Intervention Psychosis (EIP) or have a good foundation of transferable skills and an interest to develop in this area.</p> <p>There is a strong sense of camaraderie within the Milton Keynes EIP team, and a strong partnership between operational and clinical staff. There are opportunities to access funded specialist training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for psychosis and family interventions. There may also be an opportunity to spend one clinic session per week in another team/speciality to maintain additional skills.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Milton Keynes Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Service is a multi-disciplinary team providing treatment and support for people who are experiencing symptoms of psychosis for the first time, and during the first three years following a first episode of psychosis. The service has a strong focus on providing psychological inventions alongside care-coordination, help, advice and support. The team helps service users make sense of their experiences, provides treatment and interventions to enable them to get back to, or continue to, work or study, whilst liaising with other services and agencies to sort out benefits and finances, and help solve any housing problems.</p> <p>A key part of the role will be acting as liaison and Principal Investigator for research trials (e.g. virtual reality CBT) from different universities.</p> <p>Our staff demonstrate an interest in providing a high level of service for service users and carers as well as an interest in service development. We are looking for motivated and committed clinical or counselling psychologists who are passionate to lead the development of psychological therapies and the therapy pathways within our service.</p> <p>Where the applicant will be newly qualified on appointment they will join a number of other recent recruits in Milton Keynes and undergo a well- established, thorough preceptorship programme ensuring they are equipped with the competencies required of an 8a post holder before they progress.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychologist to join AWP Secure Services.</p> <p>This role involves opportunities to work across our medium and low secure hospitals for men, women, and individuals with learning disabilities and autism, who present significant risks and mental health challenges such as psychosis.</p> <p>You will be part of a team of specialists and experienced psychological therapists, contributing to the establishment of a new Psychological Therapy Service (PTS).</p> <p>You will have opportunities to work alongside Clinical Psychologists, Forensic Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, Art Psychotherapists, Drama Therapist, Music Therapists as well as trainees, assistants and students within our integrated PTS.</p> <p>This collaborative environment offers opportunities to work closely with service users across the spectrum, providing comprehensive and innovative therapeutic interventions.</p> <p>Secure Inpatient Services consists of Fromeside, an 81 bed medium secure unit and Wickham, a 30 bed low secure unit, both based on the Blackberry Hill Hospital site in north Bristol. The service includes a specialist women's ward and a specialist 8 bedded ward for men with learning disabilities and/or autism. We have a large, friendly psychology team with expertise in working with people with a wide range of presenting difficulties including; violence, sexual offending, fire setting, learning disabilities, autism, personality disorders and psychosis</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The roles will involve providing direct clinical work, consultation, teaching and staff support, supervision, and working collaboratively with other members of the MDT including psychiatry, nursing, arts psychotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists.</p>
<p>The role will involve completing specialist assessments, developing complex formulations and designing and delivering individualized therapeutic interventions; as well as facilitating therapeutic groups and engaging in complex systemic work.</p>
<p>There will also be the opportunity to engage in service development projects. The successful post-holders will need be adaptable, creative, to have good communication and team working skills, and to have experience and/or interest in working with people with significant mental health difficulties such as psychosis, who present a significant risk to others.</p>

Clinical Lead. The service is psychology-led and holds psychological
assessment and formulation, as well as the Veterans we work with, at the core
of everything it offers.</p><p>You will be responsible for delivering outcome based
psychological therapy that is uniquely tailored to meet the needs of Veterans
living in the community. The service is community based and appointments
are offered where possible in the Veterans locality as well as remotely via
telephone and video.</p><p>Given the nature of the client group and the geographical needs
of the service, we are looking for a clinician with significant experience in
treating complex mental health needs in an autonomous capacity. Being
able to demonstrate experience in treating trauma and complex mental health
needs according to evidenced based guidelines is essential, as is experience of
working with this client group. Experience of using a range of
therapeutic modalities including CBT, EMDR and Compassion Focused Therapy would
also be an advantage. Equally important would be your ability to work
both autonomously within community based settings, as well as collaboratively
with other teams and professionals. The ability to consider and find
creative and flexible solutions to engage individuals in psychological
treatment is an essential skill in this setting. You will be able to work

  <p>This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic and highly specialist Forensic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (FCAMHS), a regional team that sits alongside Somerset CAMHS and supports young people across Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. The service works with children and young people presenting with forensic risks and complex mental health and/or neurodevelopmental needs.</p><p>As a Research Assistant Psychologist, you'll play a key role in supporting the team's delivery of a Randomised Controlled Trial of Mentalization-Based Therapy with young people under FCAMHS. You'll be part of a compassionate, multi-disciplinary team that includes nursing, occupational therapy, social work, psychiatry and psychology.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul><li>Support the delivery of MBT therapies as part of a national RCT, under supervision of a clinical/forensic psychologist.</li><li>Monitor, document and report adherence to the research protocol in line with Good Clinical Practice.</li><li>Assist in recruitment of participants for the RCT.</li><li>Administer psychometric instruments and conduct specialised clinical assessments.</li><li>Provide consultation and advice to professionals working with the FCAMHS cohort.</li><li>Engage in regular supervision and contribute to service development and evaluation.</li><li>Liaise with partner agencies, including youth justice services and other mental health professionals.</li><li>Analyse and present data using appropriate formats (e.g. reports, presentations).</li><li>Attend internal and external meetings, consultations and supervisions.</li></ul>
