  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

<li>To be responsible for the systematic provision of a range of evidence-basedpsychological interventions to working age adults with severe and enduring mentalhealth difficulties referred by the Community Mental Health teams within thelocality.</li>
<li>To undertake high quality direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect(consultative, advisory and evaluative) specialist psychology interventions withinthe service and taking substantial professional responsibility and exercisingautonomous judgement in their professional practice.</li>
<li>To ensure the clinical effectiveness of own practice and of service functioning byundertaking research and development relevant to the service area.</li>
<li>To be regularly responsible for providing and contributing to training placements for trainee clinical/counselling psychologists and for providing professional support and line-management to basic/senior psychologists in this specialism</li>

  <p>MHSTs are a national initiative that is intended to provide children, families and school staff with increased access to mental health support. Camden MHST was first launched in January 2019 and provide a school based mental health service that works across Camden Primary and Secondary Schools as well as community hubs and clinics. Our service aims to promote and support child mental health through early intervention; that is before mental health difficulties arise, or when there are mild to moderate concerns relating to a young person's emotions, relationships and/or behaviour.</p> <p>To achieve our aims, we offer brief evidence-based approaches through universal (e.g. whole school approach), targeted (e.g. class or small group intervention) and individual therapeutic interventions.The national initiative emphasises the importance of a whole school approach with recognition of the central role that environment plays in fostering good wellbeing and positive outcomes for young people. As such our work endeavours to join with schools in the promotion of a positive ethos and culture surrounding the social, emotional, and mental health of the entire school community.</p> <p>Camden is a diverse borough and we aim to provide an equitable and culturally sensitive service that reaches all of our communities.   <p>The post holder will hold a complex caseload within the multi-disciplinary team, undertaking a range of clinical assessments and offering highly skilled treatments or therapies that are outcome focused and evidence based, using appropriate therapeutic modalities. treatment Requirements as part of a Mental Health Treatment Requirement initiative. This is a unique opportunity to work as a Qualified
Psychologist embedded in probation offices in the Norfolk region. </p><p>Within this role you will support
and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the Criminal
Justice System (CJS); providing psychological assessment and psychological
interventions, working independently according to a plan agreed and within the
overall framework MHTRs, and St Andrews policies and procedures.</p><p>The service is psychology-led and
holds psychological assessment and formulation, as well as the service users we
work with, at the core of everything it offers.</p><p>Experience of using a range of

  <p><strong>Outpatient Services</strong></p><p>Our service specialises in developing
and delivering community based services for St Andrews. We offer a range
of services including, a busy private therapy clinic, a Medico-Legal Service,
Diagnostic Assessment Clinics (ADHD and ASD), a Complex Trauma Service for
Military Veterans, a community transition service and a range of MHTR services
across the midlands and east of England. We support LightBulb a schools based
mental wellness programme and are able to offer a comprehensive development
plan for those wishing to gain a range of experience.</p><p><strong>The Role and Person</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for delivering
outcome based psychological therapy that is uniquely tailored to meet the needs
of service users living in the region.You will supervise a number of
assistant psychologist supporting them in a manualised treatment approach,
whilst working with the wider team on more complex cases. You will be offered
supervision from a consultant Psychologist working within our service, they
will encourage you to develop your strengths and skills with opportunities for
professional development. </p><p>The service is community based and
appointments are offered where possible in the service users locality as well
as remotely via telephone and video. As some travel will be required, a
full drivers licence is essential or access to good public transport links.
However, in return, you will also benefit from having the flexibility to

  <p>We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Psychotherapist with relevant experience to join the leadership team in our Home Treatmentservice in Sheffield.
