  <p>We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist to join our well-established Complex Psychological Interventions Service in Bristol. The post is based in Adult Mental Health Services in the Inner City and East Bristol team, and the successful applicant will support the delivery of psychological interventions in the Assessment and Recovery Team.</p>
<p>We are looking for applicants with a particular interest in working with people with a broad range of complex and enduring mental health difficulties across the lifespan, including older adults who are served within our ageless service. We are particularly interested in candidates with special skills and experience in CBT for severe mental health difficulties.</p>
<p>In addition, the successful candidate will lead the organisation and development of our established Staff Support Debrief Service for the community teams in Bristol.</p>
<p>As well as working closely within the teams, you will receive excellent support and supervision from more senior and well-established CPI members. There will be opportunities for continuing professional development and development of innovative research projects.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We have a exciting vacancy that has arisen for newly qualified or early career Clinical or Counselling Psychologist within our Integrated Community Care and Recovery (ICCR) Services working across two of our service areas with adults with mental health difficulties in the community. The post will be 0.5 with a vibrant community mental health team and 0.5 with the enhanced team for personality disorders, both located in the Solihull Hub . This is an ideal post to apply your full range of psychological skills and knowledge including consultation, training, supervision, service development, leadership and research in addition to direct clinical work.</p>
<p>We are looking for a suitably experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologists (or equivalent applied Psychological Practitioners). Based on experience, this post can either be offered at a Band 8a or a Band 7/ 8a Preceptorship arrangement. Applicants from final year trainees in a Preceptorship arrangement are welcome.</p>
<p>It is a stimulating time in the service as the post-holders will be part of multi-professional teams supporting the Transformation of our Community Services in BSMHFT as part of the NHS Long Term Plan.</p>
<p>We would welcome applications from those looking to build upon their clinical skills with a wide range of presenting difficulties post qualification or those with more experience who are keen to develop specialisms and greater leadership roles to make a difference in the community.</p>

You should have experience of working with service users with complex mental health and behavioural needs; additionally to be familiar with the needs of a diverse BAME community and working in areas of high socioeconomic deprivation.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Psychology service at Stockton Hall Hospital. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Consultant Psychologist, with robust experience within a forensic setting; someone who is a confident leader and is keen to develop to contribute to service development, including trauma informed care.</p><p>At Stockton Hall Hospital, just outside York, we are well-known for producing positive clinical outcomes for highly complex patients. We currently provide a medium-secure care setting in which patients access a broad range of therapeutic interventions including one-to-one and group-based psychological treatments.</p><p>Our service has produced excellent recovery results for patients, maximising their opportunity to progress to conditions of lower-security and community settings as safely and efficiently as possible.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul> <li>You will be a confident leader who is keen to help develop others.</li> <li>You will understand the dynamics of working in a secure hospital and be able to help offer containment and support to those who need it within a culture of compassion.</li> <li>You will provide professional leadership to the psychology team, contribute to the development of services and work to influence organisational thinking relating to the delivery of psychologically informed care.</li> <li>You will advise at a senior management level on psychological aspects of organisational functioning, including the health and well-being of our colleagues.</li> <li>You will also work clinically with a dynamic multi-professional team leading development of individual formulations and psychological assessment.
