Consultant Psychiatrist- Part Time

			<p>Do you want to work in a friendly, committed, acute inpatient service where your knowledge, experience and skills will be valued? If so, join Dunnock View as an Associate Specialist, where you will be providing treatment to men and women who have mental health needs.&nbsp; </p>
<p>With the support of a Consultant Psychiatrist and Lead Consultant Psychiatrist you will provide clinical assessment. You will support the consultant in the assessment of patients referred to the service and will be expected to complete regular mental state reviews, as well as monitoring for side effects of medication. </p>
<p>As an Associate Specialist, you will ensure the high quality first-line medical care of our inpatients, liaise effectively with external professionals and carers, provide written and oral evidence for Hospital Managers’ and Tribunal hearings, work towards safe discharges, and be a valued and effective member of the multidisciplinary team at Dunnock View.&nbsp;</p>
<p>You will also ensure an adequate handover to colleagues including out of hours, seek collateral history from other professionals and family, and complete discharge letters/reports/s62 forms as required.</p>

  <p>We are seeking highly motivated, dynamic, flexible and creative staff. Qualified High Intensity CBT Therapist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>ESNEFT is a large NHS Foundation Trust serving a population of approximately 1 million people in the Suffolk and North Essex area.</p>
<p>ESNEFT is starting a new Complex Obesity Service which will deliver bariatric/metabolic surgery, endoscopic and medical weight management treatments to the Suffolk and North Essex population. We have designed our service with many innovations to make it fit for purpose for the current obesity landscape.</p>
<p>We have combined the traditional Tier 3 and Tier 4 into a single comprehensive service (Tier 4 PLUS) and will offer all treatments including IWMP, GLP-1 medications, endoscopic and surgical bariatric procedures.</p>
<p>A national BOMSS survey of bariatric psychologists in 2022 found that there was a significant disparity between what activity bariatric psychologists wanted to be delivering within Specialist Weight Management Services and the activity they were actually carrying out. Psychologists spent most of their time assessing patients for bariatric surgery or other treatments whereas they would prefer to focus on psychological treatment of patients who need it.</p>
<p>We have allocated funding and created outline pathways for psychological assessment and treatment to provide a quality psychological element to the service. We are keen to recruit a psychologist who can continue to innovate and develop these assessment and treatment approaches using the latest evidence and quality standards.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This post would be available full or part time and options for flexible working hours and remote working will be considered by mutual agreement.</p>
<p>The role within the Weight Management Service will involve both direct 1:1 patient care, service development, advice to other MDT members and the potential for group patient sessions. You will be a core member of the Multidisciplinary Team meetings and discuss each patient's suitability for treatment to agree with other members of the MDT a shared decision for treatment for each patient.</p>
<p>We are recruiting Bariatric Psychologists to develop and deliver this new service and currently seeking an experienced psychologist looking to progress their career in a Band 8b Principal Clinical Psychologist position. Supervision will be provided by experienced Consultant Bariatric Psychologists.</p>

Principal Bariatric Clinical Psychologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The SET CAMHS crisis and therapeutic home treatment team offer assessment and interventions to those young people presenting with mental deterioration or crisis presentations. As a service we now work within the Thrive model and implement collaborative care plans with our community services and community SET CAMHS team to promote positive outcomes for vulnerable young people and their families-there are opportunities here for join working and co-ordinating alongside the community based teams. Our approach to working is being developed with a focus on meeting the needs of the young person to ensure effective clinical practice and brief therapeutic interventions, and to reduce risk to have a stabilising impact within a containing approach. Within the service there are opportunities for development and training in various therapeutic approaches, and all new starters will be provided with a full induction and opportunities to shadow the team and to learn about the various departments/teams within the SET CAMHS model. We also welcome candidates from internal teams who may be interested in career progression and are wishing to enhance their practice and skillset in relation to this client group. Regular clinical supervision and reflective space is offered to members of the team, and the team operates on a shared risk model to ensure that decisions are made collectively with effective formulations of need.</p>

SET CAMHS Crisis Practitioner (mid/west)

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The NHS Talking Therapies Service in Mid Essex, covering Braintree, Chelmsford, Maldon and surrounding towns and villages, is looking to employ a full-time Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. The role, working closely with the PWPs they supervise, plays a central role in ensuring our service is of the best quality, with the best outcomes for our service users.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The key part of this role will be to provide clinical supervision, support and development for PWPs within the service. The Senior PWP will work alongside the Talking Therapies Operational Manager, Team Leaders and our other Senior PWPs and Senior Clinicians. As a Senior PWP, individual clinical supervision will be provided by a Senior Clinician within the team. There will be opportunities for ongoing professional development as well as the chance to contribute to further service development.You will be an experienced PWP with at least 1 year post qualification experience and with a recognized Talking Therapies qualification in Step 2 intervention and will be registered or working towards PWP accreditation with the BABCP or BPS. The position provides an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced PWP to lead in the further development of the PWP role as the service grows and ensure our team of PWPs are supported and supervised effectively. You will enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working and be based in Tekhnicon House, Braintree for a minimum of 2 days per week.</p>

  <p>Our friendly and growing team is ready to welcome a new team member who will share our passion for improving access and the quality of care for people with eating disorders.</p> <p>We are looking for a dynamic, creative, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who has a demonstrable interest in working with clients suffering with an eating disorder and developing OT provision.</p> <p>You will receive regular professional and management supervision and will be supported to develop skills in this specialist area. Initially you would be able to work closely alongside a more experienced member of staff to support you to develop skills and gain confidence if eating disorders is a new field for you.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>  <li>To provide specialist recovery-focussed OT assessments, interventions and formulation for patients referred for OT.</li>  <li>To apply a variety of treatment modalities to meet the needs of patients in individual or group format, utilising clinical reasoning processes to determine the most appropriate setting for intervention with specific reference to activities of daily living as they are impacted by eating disorders.</li>  <li>Collaborate in the delivery of a group therapy programme and modification of aspects of the environment to empower and facilitate optimal functional performance.</li>  <li>To undertake treatment planning, communicating and negotiating treatment plans, review and liaise with formal agencies and extended support networks (where appropriate).</li>  <li>To communicate agreed treatment/care plans to multi-disciplinary team.</li> </ul>
