  <p><strong>Band 8a full time post, with Band 7 - 8a preceptorship opportunities available</strong></p> <p>This post offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic psychologist within the Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Community Learning Disability Team, part of the wider North Yorkshire, York &amp; Selby Learning Disability Service.</p> <p>We are seeking to appoint a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist who is passionate about working with people with learning disabilities. The vacancy is open to an existing Band 8A psychologist or a Band 7psychologist wishing to progress in their career. We will also consider offering a preceptorship option for a newly or recently qualified clinical or counselling psychologist who may not yet meet the essential criteria; to progress from a band 7 into the band 8a position. </p> <p>The post offers many excitingdevelopmental and creative opportunities.</p> <p>The post holder will have a key role in providing psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to service users, their families, carers, and staff teams. This may be through direct therapeutic support using various adapted psychological approaches or indirect work with a service user's support system using psychologically informed thinking.</p> <p>An additional element to this role is offering neuropsychological assessments to service users, alongside reflective practice, consultation, and supervision. An interest in working with Trauma Informed Care approaches would be welcomed.</p>

  <p>Applicants should ideally have experience in working within Learning Disability services and show strong patient-centred values. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, motivated, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent health care and evidence-based practice. You will be working alongside a supportive team and opportunities to develop special interests and co-work will be encouraged.</p> <p>In addition, the post holder will have a valued role in the team's collective leadership group, alongside opportunities for research and service development.Our service has strong links with the Doctoral Clinical and Counselling Psychology Programmes at Teesside, Hull, and York St Johns Universities. The post holder will be involved in offering trainee placements and University teaching. There are excellent opportunities for peer support/ supervision, CPD, training, research, and audit withinthe wider trust and psychological professions network.</p> <p>We are very keen to support practitioners obtain further professional training with relevance to the service (e.g., EMDR; Flash; CBT; CAT; PBS; Systemic Family Therapy, etc). You will be working in an area of natural beauty across the North Yorkshire coast and North York Moors.   <p>We are looking for a compassionate psychologist (clinical/ forensic) to join us at Ridgeway in our Secure Inpatient Psychology Service TEWV NHS Trust. It is a Fixed Term 12month post to cover maternity leave. Experience working with a Learning Disability population is preferrable.</p> <p>The post would suit an enthusiastic Psychologist, valuing the opportunity to work collaboratively with members of a well-established multi-disciplinary team, where psychology is a core treatment offer. A key part of this role will be using clinical leadership skills to influence teams to embed formulations, psychological understanding and psychosocial interventions in everyday practice.</p> <p>As a service, we are keen to support and invest in the ongoing development of our Psychologists through CPD opportunities, so an interest in developing clinical skills across a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches is essential. The Psychologist would have the opportunity to gain experience working with a diverse population that includes male and female mental health, learning disability, autism and older adults, including those who may have experienced trauma and/ or neurological difficulties.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join 14 Arches, Staff Psychology &amp; Counselling; a psychology-led service offering psychological support to NHS staff working in Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. The service is based in Northampton but provides support across sites where NHFT staff are based.</p>
<p>You would be joining an innovative and enthusiastic team of two principal psychologists and two experienced counsellors, supported by a clinical administrator. Psychologists within the service offer one-to-one consultations to colleagues, in which we explore an area of concern and help make sense of what is going on; we also offer support to teams and team leaders, consulting when there are difficulties and providing input to teams through structured activities and reflective practice.</p>
<p>We are looking for an innovative and dedicated clinician with a strong commitment to improving psychological wellbeing for NHS staff and an interest in using their skills in a range of individual and group interventions with staff. Strengths will be psychological formulation which draws on a range of models, and the ability to communicate and share psychological thinking with colleagues. Also important will be the ability in the postholder to work at a systemic level, develop practice and take forward a project within the service.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You would be expected to work alongside the established psychologists and counsellors within the service, delivering support to colleagues who refer in, supporting service evaluation and development and contributing to supervision, governance and service development. <p>The Bereavement Support Service is a specialist Counselling Service within Carmarthenshire. The successful applicant will be based in Carmarthen, however will need to be willing to travel to other sites within Carmarthenshire if required, such as our partner site at Ty Bryngwyn. We offer a blended model of engagement, including the use of virtual platforms as well as face to face.</p>
<p>The applicant will require experience working within a team and in providing bereavement counselling.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be working within the Bereavement Support Service providing counselling to service users within Carmarthenshire, however you will need to be willing to work across the county of Carmarthenshire within Hywel Dda University Health Board if required. You will be conducting assessments and providing counselling supportwith a mixed model approach face to face, telephone and online<strong>.</strong> You will be required to work autonomously as part of a team, alongside and in partnership with other Healthcare professionals and Services within clinical settings.</p>

  <p>The Wellbeing Service is part of the national IAPT programme, aimed at helping people across Suffolk aged 16 and over, who are suffering with mild to moderately severe anxiety and depression.</p> <p>You will be fully accredited CBT Therapist with the BABCP.</p> <p>We want patients and staff to recommend our organisation as a place where they would be happy for their friends and family to be treated. You can help us do this by bringing your skills, experience and commitment to The Wellbeing Service.</p> <p>The Wellbeing Service is expanding, and we work closely with community colleagues to support people living with Long Term Conditions as well as our core work. We will offer evidence based psychological treatments to help individuals to live well with their condition, and strengthen links with key physical health colleagues in our area. Additional training in working with Long Term Conditions will be provided.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
   <p>You will provide high intensity interventions to a range of adults with anxiety, depression and trauma related problems. You will receive regular supervision as well as in service training and CPD days that ensure your continued learning and development. This is an opportunity to join an established team of Psychological Therapists providing a range of NICE compliant treatments at Step 3. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.</p> <p>Experience of working in Primary Care will be an advantage. As well as 1:1 work you may be expected to co-facilitate group interventions. For the delivery of group work we provide training and additional support, should you need it.</p> <p>As a Band 7 therapist, you will contribute to the on-going development and evaluation of the service.</p> <p>The post will be based in one of our sites in Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds, dependent on applicants own location, however, there is a requirement to work across Suffolk as required. Treatments are currently being delivered digitally and remotely from home as well as face to face treatment provision in clinical spaces across the county. There will therefore be an expectation to work a hybrid model of set days at home and set days from a clinic setting. </p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p><strong>This is a community-based role that requires frequent travel to various locations throughout the county including areas that may not be accessible by public transportation. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate how they will manage these travel requirements.</strong></p> <p>This role sits alongside other practitioner psychologists, psychological therapists, assistant psychologists, trainee psychologists, Clinical Associate Psychologists (CAPs) and Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWPs) embedded in an experienced, compassionate, trauma informed and person-centred multidisciplinary team which welcomes psychological interventions and collaborative working. </p> <p>The role is a varied one providing assessment (including neurodevelopmental), formulation, individual and group interventions, and consultation using a range of therapeutic approaches. </p> <p>You will also support psychological practice within the team by contributing a psychological perspective to team working, treatment planning and supervising other psychological professionals. </p> <p>There is a key focus on quality to enhance services. We encourage our psychologists to develop their skills and knowledge with CPD opportunities and have a track record of being able to provide ongoing training in CAT, CBT-P, DBT, EMDR, and FIP. </p> <p>There will be opportunities to contribute to the development of a new model of integrated primary and community mental health services linking Community Mental Health Teams and Primary Care Networks.</p>
