  <p><strong>Are you a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who is looking for a role in Oxfordshire?</strong></p>
<p>Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking a CBT Therapist. We are looking for someone with CBT experience who is looking to deliver high quality CBT and develop through regular supervision, CPD and a range of training opportunities to support career progression.</p>
<p>We are one of the national Talking Therapies services delivering cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based psychological interventions, through a stepped care treatment model to people in the community with common mental health problems.</p>
<p>We have links with the Oxford Centre for Psychological Health that includes Oxford Centre for Cognitive Therapy (OCTC) and Oxford Institute for Clinical Psychology Training, which is hosted by the Trust. We actively encourage innovation and research with opportunities for collaborations with the Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire NHS Talking Therapies Collaboration, University of Oxford Department of Psychiatry and Department of Experimental Psychology.</p>
<p>To support our continued expansion, we have developed pathways in working with patients with anxiety and/or depression and living with long term physical health conditions such as Cardiac disease. We have expanded our offer of employment support services and this has been commended by the Department of Works and Pensions and ERSA award nominated.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The responsibilities within the role include, but are not limited to:</p>
<ul>
<li>To formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes across a range of complex problems with which clients present</li>
<li>To exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment and treatment of clients in line with the service</li>
<li>Provide specialist advice and consultation to other professionals / individuals / groups / committees across Mental Health Trusts, Primary Care Trusts and other voluntary agencies</li>
<li>Provide supervision to other staff involved in the provision of psychological services including day supervision</li>
</ul>

High Intensity CBT Therapist

Hybrid Adult Counsellor - Survivor Space Oxfordshire

VACANCY: Survivor Space Oxfordshire - Adult's Counsellor December 17, 2025 <p><b>Job title:</b> Adult's Counsellor</p><p><b>Role summary:</b> The Survivor Space Counselling and Groups Service currently supports people of all genders aged 12 and over who have been affected by sexual violence. This role is to work with survivors who are adults aged over 18 years. The service currently offers a weekly online Drop-in group; Psychoeducation sessions; Counselling and a Neurodiverse group. The counselling service offers up to 12 sessions of counselling. Please ask if you have further questions before applying. All staff and volunteers attend the Survivor Space Core training when available. The Adult Counsellor will work on a week day from East Oxford offering face-to-face counselling. The remaining hours can be worked from home and from our other counselling hubs throughout the county. This can be on days to suit the counsellor in agreement with the Clinical Lead and needs of the service. The Counsellor will be required to attend the Counselling and Groups Team meeting online, Wednesday morning at 9am (usually 30-45 mins) and will also attend at least 1.5 hrs of supervision per month, and a 1-hour Line management meeting per month (online).</p><p><b>About the Group:</b> This is an exciting time to join Survivor Space Oxfordshire as we start our new Lottery funded project. Survivor Space Oxfordshire has been supporting and empowering survivors of sexual violence in Oxfordshire since 1979.
