School Counsellor
8-13 hours per week over 2-3 days/ Term time only
(To include after school availability until 4.45 pm one day/week).
The preferred days of work would be a Monday and Tuesday or a Wednesday morning
Pay Range 7 from £40,835 - £45,072 (FTE) £12,002.18 - £13,247.51 (actual) for 13 hours per week 38 weeks per year
We have a vacancy for a School Counsellor who will provide a counselling service for students in Years 7-13, as part of our experienced counselling team. You will not only counsel and support our wonderful students but will also be a key member of our friendly, collaborative and highly capable pastoral team, sharing your expertise to promote mental and emotional health and well-being at our school. This is a varied, fascinating and very impactful role. The successful candidate will be a team-player, a strong communicator and will be passionate about making a really positive difference in our school. They will need to perform duties within the codes of practice and ethics recommended by the BACP, UKCP or equivalent organisation.
