  <p><strong>Are you a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist seeking a new challenge?</strong></p> <p>A <strong>part-time </strong>opportunity has arisen for a<strong> Clinical or Counselling Psychologist</strong> to join the <strong>Bucks Early Intervention Service</strong> in a developmental role. We are looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful person who is able to work within a multi-disciplinary team both independently and with initiative. We are looking for a person who has the ability to provide specialist cognitive-behavioural therapy for psychosis and the ability to use their skills to support and motivate colleagues and clients.</p> <p>You will have experience of working alongside a range of other professionals to provide psychological advice and consultation regarding formulation and treatment.</p> <p>We welcome applications from newly or soon-to-be qualified clinical or counselling psychologists. Please note this role is <strong>part-time working 22.5 hours per week.</strong></p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role is crucial in ensuring that patients get timely access to high quality specialist psychological treatments within the Bucks Early Intervention Service. As part of the role, you will:</p> <ul>  <li>Provide psychological assessment and intervention for adults with severe and/or complex mental health difficulties presenting in the Early Intervention Service and their families in outpatient, community and inpatient settings as required. This may include the use of digital technology.</li>  <li>Supervise and support the psychological assessment and interventions provided by assistant and trainee psychologists and other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care and treatment, dependent on experience.</li>  <li>Provide ad hoc advice, consultation and supervision on clients' psychological care to colleagues and other professionals as delegated by the Principal Clinical Psychologist.</li>  <li>Work towards the standards, duties and responsibilities expected of a band 8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, which, if achieved in line with developmental reviews, will lead to an opportunity for promotion to band 8a.</li> </ul> <p>You will excel at working autonomously, managing a caseload and taking responsibility for the governance of your psychological practice within a multidisciplinary team. You will be familiar with utilising research skills for audit, policy and service development.</p>

There are opportunities for indirect working (e.g. consultation, supporting formulation skills development).</p> <p>Our Service has 10 teams with excellent track records working closely together, with opportunities for gaining different experiences to develop your portfolio. Our internal training programme for staff is positively-rated and clinical supervision practice is highly valued. We value the diversity of our clinicians, and the skill sets they bring.</p> <p>Whilst this is an 8a post we are very happy to receive applications from soon to be or newly qualified Clinical Psychologists in a preceptorship role (with a structured development plan to progress with regular support).   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a Clinical Psychologist in Core CAMHS you will:</p> <ul>  <li> Provide specialist psychological/therapy-based assessments, formulations and interventions for children and young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties</li>  <li> Provide a pivotal lead role in reducing waiting lists ('Referral to Treatment' (RTT) times) for Routine Core through indirect consultation and formulation skills offers to Core Mental Health Practitioners and providing direct joint-clinical work at referral, initial assessment and therapeutic intervention stages, where appropriate.</li>  <li> Be client-centred and a goal-focused member of our multi-disciplinary service, championing ROMs and contributing to service developments, as appropriate.</li>  <li> Empower and support young people on their journey to recovery</li>  <li> Offer clinical advice and support, consultations, supervision and training for professionals in our CAMHS Service.</li>  <li> Be an active member of an experienced multi-disciplinary service and contribute to team and service developments.</li>  <li> Contribute to case discussions and a 'careteam' approach to formulation.</li> </ul>

We are looking to recruit a Lead PWP into an established role to offer continued support for the PWP in delivering high quality and accessible care to adults in the borough. The post attracts inner London weighting and is ideal for a PWP with significant consolidated post qualification experience, who has ideally held the position of Senior PWP and is keen to develop leadership skills. It's a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate and develop skills in service development, line management and the development of the PWP profession. </p> <p>We are particularly looking for applicants interested in developing a career within the PWP profession. We are looking for a candidate who can offer long term commitment to the role to support their development and to adequately offer long term support to those they line manage and supervise.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Lead PWP will hold a small clinical case load, provide supervision and line management to the PWP team and share responsibility for the operational running of the service with the other Step 2 lead clinicians. They will be required to work one evening session (12pm-8pm Monday to Thursday). The role will be varied, thus supporting the post holder to develop assessment, treatment, supervision, line management, leadership and project management skills. </p> <p>You will need experience of risk management and assessment, formulation and treatment of Talking Therapies appropriate disorders within a PWP framework and have some supervision and line management experience. We are keen to fill gaps in experience though, through our comprehensive CPD and supervision programme, and we offer ongoing support via debrief and senior duty at all times.</p>

  <p>We are seeking a compassionate, reflective, and recovery-focused Assistant Psychologist to support the delivery of evidence-based psychological interventions for individuals on the Adult Acute Inpatient Wards at Wedgwood House, Bury St Edmunds.</p> <p>Preference will be given to candidates with a strong understanding of psychological models of therapy and recovery, particularly Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) approaches within inpatient settings. Confidence in facilitating therapeutic groups, alongside knowledge and skills in collaboratively developing and disseminating psychological formulations, are essential attributes for the successful post holder.</p> <p>The successful candidate will contribute to the team's work by providing psychological assessments, as well as individual and group interventions, under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist.
