  <p>We are recruiting for a Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) as our YJS Senior Mental Health Practitioner.</p><p>The Youth Justice Service (YJS) is a multi-disciplinary team which works with children and young people aged 10 -17 years old who have offended and are made subject to a range of community and custodial disposals.</p><p>The YJS Senior Mental Health Practitioner will support children and young people by providing time-limited interventions, who are known to the YJS and are experiencing mental health and wellbeing difficulties, as part of an overall plan to reduce their risk of re-offending, harm to others and vulnerability.</p><p>This may include signposting or liaison with other service providers, and establishing exit strategies (via onward referral) to ensure ongoing support is available where it is deemed necessary. YOT Senior Mental Health Practitioner

  <p>We are looking for 1 committed practitioner who would like to further their studies to train with South West CYP IAPT. We are offering three places to study place on their CBT for Depression and Anxiety programme (PGDIP). It is aimed at staff who work with a range of presentations in their daily practice and would equip you with a BABCP-accredited Postgraduate Diploma. The training is fully funded and we would anticipate you being offered a substantive contract with community CAMHS on successful completion.</p>
<p>The course runs for one year, between January and December. This training course is funded by HEE, you would be studying at the University of Exeter 2 days a week and working in a children's mental health service 2-3 days per week.</p>
<p>'<strong>KSA</strong>' stands for 'Knowledge Skills and Attitude' and involves completing a portfolio throughout the year to show how your current skills match the level necessary for a core profession. To be eligible for the KSA route you would need to have a minimum of 2 years' relevant full-time equivalent therapeutic experience in a mental health setting. <p>This is a training role within the Child and Young Persons Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (CYP-IAPT). The post-holder will work within Cornwall CAMHS service at Cornwall Partnership Trust, providing interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role at the University of Exeter.</p>
<p>This intensive training post will equip the post holder to provide interventions based on CYP-IAPT core principles and an evidence based intervention consistent with their training course. The post- holder would be expected to attend and fulfil all the requirements of the training element of the post and continue to work within the CAMHS service on qualification.</p>
<p>Graduates of any other HEE funded course need to be 2 years post graduation to be eligible to apply.</p>
<p>The course is suitable for anyone who already has a foundation in CBT skills. You would need to have:</p>
<p>Level 6 qualification, and a core profession recognised by BABCP.</p>
<p>OR</p>
<p>Eligibility to complete the course via the KSA route. Level 6 qualification is usually an undergraduate degree or equivalent.</p>

CAMHS CBT IAPT Trainee

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are seeking a High Intensity Modality Lead to support and manage the delivery and development of additional modalities within NHS Talking Therapies Southampton.</p> <p>As a High Intensity Modality lead you will act as clinical lead within an area of expertise, provide expertadvice to psychological therapists and other professionals. You will provide non-CBT high intensity modalities that form part of the NHS Talking Therapies programme as recommended by NICE for clients who present a range of complex Anxiety and Depression related problems as well as other mild to moderate mental health problems.</p> <p>You will supervise and support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other high intensity therapists and trainees and support other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care and treatment.</p> <p>This is a part time role of 30 hours based in Southampton.   <p>You will primarily oversee clinical quality and outcomes for the high intensity team, focusing on the delivery and quality of non-CBT HI additional modalities including evidence based NICE Approved treatments Couples Therapy for Depression (CTfD), Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Person Centred Experiential - Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).</p> <p>You will work with the locality leads and senior service lead to ensure that national guidelines are adhered to in line with the national NHS Talking Therapy programme, targets are achieved and appropriate clinical governance arrangements are in place.</p> <p>You will work with the Locality Lead &amp; S3 Specialist oversee and monitor waiting lists for the additional modalities, to ensure timely access to treatment for patients and that the service is achieving KPIs.</p> <p>Provide specialist psychological therapy to patients from the NHS TT service in an expert area of practice.   <p>Dorset Mental Health Support Teams in Schools (MHSTs) are seeking a Trainee Senior Wellbeing Practitioner/Trainee Supervisor (Band 6) for our team based in the North &amp; East Dorset area. You will be required to attend Exeter University to complete the training for this post from January 2025 on a part time basis over two years.</p> <p>The Mental Health Support Teams work with children and young people (and their families) who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health needs, within education settings.</p> <p>We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior wellbeing and supervising practitioner who is passionate about children's mental health. You will have experience of supervising/supporting clinicians, and have a qualification in delivering Low Intensity CBT interventions, either with children and young people or with adults.</p> <p>You will be wishing to enhance your clinical skills to be able to work alongside children and young people with differing presentations, whilst providing support to the team, and wider professional network, to develop skills and knowledge base.</p> <p>You will be joining an established, creative, supportive team of professionals and be supported yourself during your training and beyond to practice safely, ethically, creatively, and curiously.</p> <p><strong>Applications from candidates that require current Skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.</strong></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The role will help to oversee the delivery of the clinical work undertaken by the Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) within the team, both those in training and those who are already qualified, ensuring that Low Intensity CBT interventions are used effectively to support children and young people's mental wellbeing. You will provide clinical supervision and leadership to more junior colleagues and will be involved with developing clinical operational processes. The team also works with education settings to help them to implement a whole school approach to good emotional wellbeing. This can include for example consultation, training and small and large group work to promote good emotional health for all. </p> <p>You will also be expected to hold a clinical caseload and to use your newly learnt knowledge to deliver short term evidence based interventions to children, families and young people whose needs are more complex in nature.</p> <p><strong>Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.</strong></p>
