Our client runs some of the UK's finest hotels with spa and health club facilities. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Spa Therapist for their site in Tetbury. Main duties: <ul> <li>Carrying out a range of Spa treatments to an extremely high standard</li> <li>Supporting the Beauty &amp; Assistant Beauty Manager</li> <li>Mentoring Therapists</li> <li>Training new starters &amp; existing Therapists in Treatment procedures &amp; products</li> <li>Achieving consistently Retail Targets</li> <li>Building a regular client base</li> <li>Ensuring Treatment Rooms are spotless, clean and hygienic at all times</li> <li>Carrying out any other reasonable tasks requested by Management Team to aid the smooth running of the Spa</li> </ul> Knowledge, experience and skills required: <ul> <li>Qualified to NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy or equivalent</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li> <li>High standard of personal appearance</li> <li>Confident in daily use of computer</li> <li>Self-motivated</li> <li>To enjoy and understand working in a team</li> <li>Must have own transport</li> <li>Available to work evenings and weekends</li> </ul>

Senior Spa Therapist - Spa

Key Responsibilities Person-Centred Care &amp; Support <ul><li>Deliver tailored care, including personal care and daily living support (e.g. washing, dressing, meal preparation, and household tasks).</li><li>Support individuals to access community activities and maintain social connections.</li><li>Promote service users' rights, responsibilities, and choices.</li><li>Assist with medication in line with policies and training.</li><li>Encourage independence and the achievement of personal goals.</li></ul> Health, Safety &amp; Compliance <ul><li>Maintain a safe and clean environment; follow all Health &amp; Safety guidelines.</li><li>Complete and adhere to risk assessments and care plans.</li><li>Record and report any incidents, concerns, or accidents in line with policy.</li><li>Comply with Turning Point's Code of Conduct, policies, procedures, and CQC standards.</li></ul> Teamwork &amp; Communication <ul><li>Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, carers, and external professionals (e.g. GPs, Social Workers).</li><li>Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and service reviews.</li><li>Contribute to the induction and support of new team members where appropriate.</li></ul> Quality &amp; Service Development <ul><li>Meet agreed quality standards and performance targets.</li><li>Actively participate in continuous service improvement initiatives.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for monitoring and audit purposes.</li></ul> Personal Development <ul><li>Take ownership of your development through regular supervision and performance reviews.</li><li>Undertake mandatory and service-specific training to enhance skills and knowledge.</li><li>Reflect on practice and seek feedback to support professional growth.</li></ul> Essential Requirements <ul><li>Compassionate and person-centred approach to care.</li><li>Ability to support individuals with personal care and daily living tasks.</li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work flexibly including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.</li><li>Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.</li><li>Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development.</li></ul> Desirable <ul><li>Experience working in learning disability or a similar care setting.</li><li>Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment, and support planning.</li><li>NVQ Level 2/3 in Health &amp; Social Care or equivalent.</li></ul> Additional Information <ul><li>May be required to support individuals with mobility, including moving and handling.</li><li>Expected to support individuals with accessing the community using public transport or vehicles.</li><li>Responsible for handling petty cash and managing service user finances in accordance with policy.</li></ul>
