  <p>We are currently recruiting for exciting opportunities to join Turning Point and be part of our highly successful and innovative Talking Therapies service.</p><p>Total Wellbeing Luton is an integrated Talking Therapies service combining healthy lifestyles and emotional health programmes provided in partnership with Active Luton and we are looking for a qualified High Intensity CBT Team Leader / Step 3 team Leader to join the team.</p><p>The service in Luton provides person-centered, holistic and accessible wellbeing services which are flexible and creative, easy to access and navigate and responsive to the needs of local people. The service contributes to tackling inequalities in health through promoting and supporting people to develop healthier behaviours and lifestyles in the context of their own local communities.</p><p>As well as supporting the community with improving their physical and emotional heath, we also prioritise our staff wellbeing.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will join our team in Luton, working in and around the district, where we specialize in evidence-based psychological therapies. Alongside vast experience of working within Mental Health, you will also have experience of leading and managing teams with a proven ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients and working relationships with your colleagues.</p><p>You will also manage your own caseload and inspire your team to meet both service and individual targets, having an IAPT Supervision Course under your belt would be helpful too, but not essential.</p><p>In addition to talking therapies, we offer healthy lifestyle programmes including NHS stop smoking, health checks, and exercise on referral, social prescription, weight management and support with physical activity for people with long term health conditions.</p>

The ATS is a friendly, well regarded multidisciplinary team that delivers specialist support and clinical interventions to adults with severe and complex mental health difficulties. This post provides an exciting opportunity for someone with sound clinical experience, looking to develop and broaden their specialist therapy skills and progress their multidisciplinary team working, supervision, training and leadership roles. They will have assessment, intervention and formulation skills in a range of psychological models, including CBT and attachment-based models. The post holder will be expected to take a clinical leadership roleand to have supervisory experience. They will be responsible for the supervision of Assistant Psychologists, Clinical Trainees and Psychology Graduate Volunteers and will support psychological practice within the wider team through consultation, supervision, formulation and training. The course you will undertake is the one-year, full-time, PGDip Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Each term will begin with a teaching block. Please note that remote teaching is not available so candidates must be willing and able to travel to Keele University every week.</p> <p>A typical working week includes 3 days of clinical practice with the service and 2 days attending university.</p> <p>Work in the service area will be hybrid, with one day per week at our base or community venues. You will be required to work one evening shift from 12:00pm-8:00pm per week to support service demand. You will receive full supervision and support from our experienced team. There will be protected time for study days, preceptorship, and professional development opportunities provided.</p> <p>Upon successful completion of the training, you will be offered a qualified High Intensity Therapist role.
