  <p>Would you like to be part of a new, exciting and innovative service working with young people with an ethos of prevention and early intervention?</p> <p>In line with the government's priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the new Mental Health Support Teams (named by children and young people in the region as Wellbeing in Mind teams) are an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors in England. We currently have 5 Wellbeing in Mind teams across North Yorkshire, which are embedded within education settings</p> <p>We are looking to recruit a new Education Mental Health Practitioner. The successful candidates will become part of a team delivering support to schools in the Selby area.</p> <p><strong>Applicants must have successfully completed the 1 year Post Graduate Certificate 'Education Mental Health Practitioner' course and be registered with either the BABCP or BPS.</strong></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Wellbeing in Mind team has 3 functions:</p> <ol>  <li>Support the development of a whole-school or college approach to wellbeing. This can include, but is not limited to, supporting sites to develop and implement mental health and wellbeing policies, development of resources, supporting campaigns and delivering training, assemblies and PHSE curriculum.</li>  <li>Provide timely advice and consultation to education staff. This is designed to support teaching staff to build their skills and confidence in supporting the wellbeing needs of their students/pupils. This is offered in both a formal and informal way.</li>  <li>Undertake direct assessments and intervention for young people within education. We offer a low intensity service model, predominantly using cognitive-behavioural therapy.</li> </ol> <p>Each function accounts for a third of the team's workload.</p> <p>Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.</p>

  <p>We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior CWP/EMHP to come and join our mental health support team on a 12 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.</p>

The post holder will work within Trafford CAMHS as a senior clinician. You will need to be a registered professional. This could be from a range of backgrounds including clinical psychology, psychotherapy, social work, nursing or occupational therapy. You will understand young people's mental health and have experience working with risk and trauma informed practice. One working day will be spent based within Trafford Youth Justice team, part of the local authority children and young people's services. The successful candidate is required to managea caseload and provide a range of high quality care appropriate to the child or young person's needs which will include; mental state assessment, risk assessment and management, providing consultation to colleagues within Youth Justice and to wider networks such as social care and, Greater Manchester Police and courts. The post holder will have a range of skills and knowledge to deliver care in a multi-agency team setting and receive clinical supervision and management supervision from local CAMHS service, and peer supervision with the CAMHS and youth justice teams. Experience of assessment of neurodevelopmental conditions will be advantageous.</p>

The Cancer Psychological Care Team provides emotional and psychological support for patients, family members and carers. The service was originally established in 2019 as part of a fixed-term partnership project between King's College Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Support, with permanent status agreed in 2021.   <p>A rare and exciting opportunity to work in a paid full time training role as a Systemic Family Practitioner (SFP) in Calderdale.</p><p>We are currently recruiting for a new training post to start the Postgraduate Certificate in Evidence Based interventions to commence in January 2026.</p><p>SFP trainees provide low intensity interventions for anxiety, depression and conduct problems including guided self-help.</p><p>The trainee will work with Invictus Wellbeing in Calderdale, with employment as a qualified SFP on successful completion of the 12 month training course (funding allowing)</p><p>The post is part of the Children and Young Peoples Psychological Trainings initiative which is intended to increase and upskill the children &amp; young peoples mental health workforce.</p><p>Applicants should have experience of supporting children and young people with their mental health/wellbeing. Trainee Systemic Family Practitioner

  <p>We are seeking keen and capable clinicians for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner role within the South Bristol CAMHS team.</p> <p>We are a service working with children and young people with complex mental health needs. We use the CAPA model of assessment and treatment, which would involve working with a variety of clinical presentations and needs, including: suicidal thoughts, low mood, anxiety, OCD and emerging psychosis, often alongside neurodiversity. We also have a lot of referrals for young people with disordered eating and diagnosed Eating Disorders, and there are opportunities to work within this clinic if this is something you are interested in.</p> <p>We are looking for a practitioner with a core professional registration, including registered nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, art therapists and CBT therapists.</p> <p>South Bristol is an area of significant disparities in health, wealth and access.     <p>To carry out assessments of a child or young persons mental health needs and associated risk when required including deliberate self-harm assessments.</p>
<p>To assess, develop, implement and evaluate therapeutic interventions and to be responsible of the management of own caseload from referral to discharge.</p>
<p>To work jointly with staff from other agencies in direct work with children and young people and their families.</p>
<p>To assess child safeguarding issues for each case. To practice within local safeguarding guidelines, sharing and directly referring on concerns when appropriate and participating in multi-agency safeguarding conferences.</p>
