  <p>Staff work closely with CAMHS Specialist Teams, Outpatient, Inpatient and Adult services, while also having connections with the wider MDT within the community.</p><p>We offer early specialist assessment and intervention using evidence-based approaches to young people up to the age of 18 years old and their families.</p><p>We are especially keen to hear from candidates who reflects the diverse communities we serve.</p><p>Some of the duties you will undertake within this role include:</p><ul><li>To undertake detailed &amp; highly specialist psychological and systemic assessments of children and families.   <p><strong>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent, Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work in the Community Children and Young People's Service (CYPS) in the Northumberland team.</strong> </p>
<p>We welcome applicants who have experience working with children and young people although this is not essential. It is essential that applicants are registered as a Speech and Language Therapist and have previous experience working within a mental health, learning disability or neurodevelopmental setting and/or team. We are interested in appointing a dedicated and committed individual who can demonstrate their ability to engage and work collaboratively with others/partner agencies and understand complex systems in order to support effective pathways.</p>
<p>CYPS provide care, treatment and assessment for young people with complex, moderate to severe needs over the whole of Northumberland. </p>
<p>The multi-disciplinary team comprises a highly skilled and experienced workforce of consultant psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychotherapists, social workers, art therapists and support workers. The team are dedicated, compassionate and always put young people and their families at the centre of everything they do.</p>

  <p>You will provide specialist SALT assessment, intervention and recommendations for children and young people accessing these services. You will work as an integral member of the CYPS MDT and support the ongoing development of the SALT provision in the service.</p>
<p>You should have qualifications and experience relevant in this clinical field and work well as part of a close team and be able to work independently. You will liaise closely with fellow professionals to address communication difficulties as part of a holistic, service user centred service and be confident in providing high quality, evidence-based assessments and interventions and possess excellent communication and organisational skills as well as have the ability to work independently.</p>
<p>The post will be based at St Georges Park Hospital in Morpeth, Northumberland. You will be required to travel to other sites across the Trust as part of the role.</p>

Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>Here in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (LLR), we are innovatively transforming ways of working with people with relational and emotional difficulties often described diagnostically as Personality Disorder.</p><p>As part of this, we are keen for another Principal Psychologist to join us in our secondary care psychologically-led dedicated provisionas a Clinical Lead.

The service has over 30 staff, including Psychologists, a Medical Psychotherapist, Peer Support Workers, and Mental Health Practitioners. We offer a range of psychological and psychologically-informed approaches within the tradition of trauma-informed care, including Mentalization-Based Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, and a structured clinical management approach.</p><p>We would be very keen to hear from applicants with an interest and training in any of these approaches.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are very pleased to be able to offer this new role to further enhance our services clinical leadership. The role will offer an exciting opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary leadership team leading the ongoing transformation of the service. You will work alongside the Consultant Clinical Lead, other Clinical Leads, and Team Managers to lead this change; offering an exciting opportunity to enhance your strategic and clinical leadership skills.</p><p>With this new role, we aim not only to strengthen the delivery of our current offers, but we have a future aspiration to also expand their scope.

You will take a key clinical leadership role in the service alongside other Clinical Leads. You will be responsible for leading the implementation and delivery of psychological interventions, supported by the Consultant Psychologist Lead, who will offer professional, managerial, and clinical supervision.</p><p>The role will offer a variety of opportunities which will include clinical leadership, direct formulation and intervention, delivering training, service development, group and 1:1 clinical supervision and consultation to others, and service evaluation. There will be opportunities to shape the role and for continued professional development in areas relevant to service delivery and development.
