<p>We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced clinician to support the therapy delivery within the step 3 + team of Bolton's NHS talking therapy service.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a Psychologist/ Psychological Therapist in our talking therapies service, you will be responsible for offering high quality assessment and brief interventions to treat those experiencing common mental health disorders.</p>
<p>This is an exciting, varied role with opportunity for, direct clinical work, consultation, supervision of other practitioners, facilitation of reflective practice and contributing to team innovation and development.</p>
<p>You will have plenty of scope and support to develop your own practice, whilst supporting the team in balancing the challenges of providing flexible high-quality services, in a way that delivers effective access and meets the expectations of patients, carers and the public.</p>

  <p>Warrington &amp; Halton Cardiac Rehab Team have maintained BACPR/NACR Green status for a number of years. We are part of the North West Cardiac Rehab Network, sharing best practice and training opportunities.</p>
<p>We see patients with varied diagnosis: MI, PCI, CABG, Valve surgery, Heart Failure, Heart Transplant, across two venues in Warrington and Halton. With a patient centred approach, helping them to achieve their goals. This could be to simply improve their breathlessness doing ADLs, right through to running a 150mile race...</p>
<p>We pride ourselves in leading by example and the team actively look to improve the service, through service developments and service improvements.</p>
<p>The role of the OT in the team, will be to bring their specialist skills to the MDT team, supporting patients through their Cardiac Rehab journey at numerous points.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be working as part of a small but highly specialist team, in an outpatient setting, in our hospital and community venues.</p>
<p>Using your specialist skills to support patients recovery after their Cardiac diagnosis or treatment.</p>
<p>The OT role is to mainly support our patients from a Psychosocial aspect, helping patients with their Mental Health, the post holder will ideally have experience of supporting patients mental health or be willing to undertake CPD to gain the relevant competencies.</p>

You will be joining an experienced and welcoming Multidisciplinary Team which highly values psychotherapeutic work.</p> <p>We are very keen to attract the right candidates and consider locality working. This role will involve remote working/hybrid working options however there will be a requirement to work from the office on certain days to meet the needs of the service.</p> <p>Shortlisting Monday 17th November 2025</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Providing talking therapies to clients with Eating Disorders, providing supervision/training to other staff and acting as a part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team. They will carry a caseload of complex clients and be expected to be an important contributor in the team management of the most complex clients who present to the service.</p> <p>The successful candidate will undertake direct clinical work, supervision, consultation and contribute to teaching and service development as well as helping to consult and guide on client's psychological care, from a trauma informed perspective. The team are trained in different therapy models including CBT, CAT, EMDR and integrative therapy and you will be encouraged and supported to undertake further training.</p> <p>Previous experience of eating disorders is necessary. You will be provided with professional and clinical supervision, and there will be multiple opportunities to develop your specialist clinical skills. There are opportunities to link with other Practitioners working in the eating disorder community and inpatient services across the Trust, and more widely across other services</p>

<p>Water Meadow View is a new mental health inpatient unit for adults who have learning disabilities. The site is due to open in Winter 2025 on our site in Whittingham, Preston.</p>
<p>As we prepare to open this unit, we have a new and exciting opportunity for a LD Peer Support Worker to join us and support the Multi-Disciplinary Team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.</p>
<p>This role will play a vital part in ensuring that the voices of people who use our service are embedded in everything we do. </p>
<p>One of the Trust's aims is to deliver the best possible care to our patients, and this new inpatient unit will do just that. Water Meadow View will offer clinical excellence, support, and safety, with patient-centred care at its heart.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a Peer Support Worker, you will use your personal lived experience of having a learning disability to support and empower others facing similar experiences.</p>
<p>Working within Water Meadow View, you will provide emotional and practical support, helping individuals build confidence, develop independence, and engage in recovery in a meaningful way. You will also use your lived experience to ensure that the service user's voice is heard and is at the centre.</p>
<p>The key responsibilities of this role are:</p>
<ul>
<li>To work directly with service users on a 1:1 and in group settings as agreed with the Ward Manager.</li>
<li>To encourage and support service users to engage in meaningful occupations throughout the day.</li>
<li>Work alongside service users and occupational therapy professionals to plan, deliver and evaluate occupational therapy groups through meaningful co-production.</li>
<li>To engage with service users throughout their recovery journey to support admission, therapy, treatment, care and discharge.</li>
<li>Support professionals to deliver training to external providers to support successful discharges</li>
<li>To support multi-disciplinary professionals to develop resources for service users</li>

You will be part of the Talking Therapies team offering one to one, telephone and online therapy as well as group work; this aspect of the role can be delivered on a Hybrid basis.</p>

          <li>British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited Diploma</li>
          
          <li>Full Accreditation with the BACP</li>
          
          <li>A Bachelors degree and/or professional training in a health practitioner field (e.g. nursing, occupational therapy)</li>

            Experience

          <li>Experience of delivering an NHSE approved relational therapy (Counselling, IPT, CTfD)within a Talking Therapies service</li>

          <li>Demonstrable and in depth knowledge of working with a diverse client group with a wide range of presenting problems and significant levels of distress</li>
          
          <li>Experience of delivering telephone, remote and online therapy</li>
