  <p>Trainee High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapists are employed on one year fixed term training contract, involving a clinical placement where you will manage a high volume caseload alongside undertaking the Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (PGDip CBT) where you will be required to meet frequent academic deadlines.</p> <p>This is a 12-month training contract, upon successful completion of the course a permanent post will be available. Successful candidates should be available to begin the role in approximately mid-January 2026, exact date to be confirmed.</p> <p>The role requires hybrid working, including both working from home and from either our base in Shrewsbury (Severn Fields Health Village) or Telford (Hall Court), as well as travel within the Shropshire, Telford &amp; Wrekin locality per service need.</p> <p>Training posts available on condition of receiving confirmation of funding - please be aware therefore that number of spaces may change.   <p>We are seeking Two full-time, Band 8a Senior Clinicians, in the capacity of a Counselling or clinical psychologist,</p> <p>This is to be a part of a dynamic and supportive team across Redbridge CAMHS . We have a well established, secure and psychologically safe team, who are passionate providing high quality and effective care to our children and young people.The role required at least two years' experience in delivering specialist mental health therapeutic interventions in a CAMHS (or similar child and adolescent mental health) setting.</p> <p>The service operates a 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday service.We provide access (through the SPA), assessment and evidence based treatment, to a growing population of 0-18-year-olds, across the London Borough of Redbridge We work as a fully integrated MDT working alongside and in collaboration other agencies such as the Primary care Nurses, MHSTs, Education, social care, to name a few.</p> <p>The care we deliver is in line with the i-Thrive framework, where we provide the Getting More help, and System Support and Risk management aspects. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This post involves assessing and treating children and young people who present with moderate to severe mental health difficulties in a community CAMHS setting. The successful candidate will work with a MDT to formulate holistic care plans.</p>
<p>The post holder will receive regular clinical supervision as well as to provide clinical supervision to other team members.</p>
<p>They will be expected to attend, participate and support the MDT meetings as well as network partnership meetings.</p>
<p>They will have a commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social care professionals and partnership agencies as we promote a trauma informed and systemic model of practice.</p>
<p>They will be expected to support the team to manage the caseloads, by providing oversight, clinical support and expert guidance to ensure safe and effective care, supporting the team in maintaining their key performance indicators.</p>

  <p><strong>Starting with NELFT</strong>NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.
