Volunteer Role: Referrals Networker

<p>Spill is a modern EAP that works for both you and your clients. With Spill, you're not just helping individual clients. Good mental health support shouldn't be a privilege that benefits a few, it should be accessible to all that need it, be approachable, and actually helpful.</p><p>We're looking for a Safeguarding Lead and Clinical Supervisor to be responsible for delivering clinical and safeguarding supervision of Spill therapists; ensuring appropriate escalation and management of safeguarding; participating in weekly clinical meetings and other tasks listed in the full job description.</p><h2>Role Description</h2><p>The clinical quality of counselling and therapy received by Spill clients is at the heart of everything we do. To achieve this we need high quality support, guidance, and clinical supervision for our growing team of exceptional counsellors, and to ensure that all safeguarding cases which arise are responded to effectively for the safety of the clients we work with.</p><p>You will be joining a small, robust, ethically and clinically led Clinical Team overseeing the clinical governance, clinical quality and safeguarding of counselling and therapy work delivered at Spill. <h2><strong>Fully remote, full-time internship for aspiring clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors.</strong></h2><p>Our Clinical Psychology Internship equips aspiring mental health professionals worldwide with essential skills and practical client-facing experience, preparing them for careers in clinical psychology, coaching, psychotherapy, or counselling.</p><p>Interns complete an intensive one-month crash course covering a toolkit of evidence-based techniques from Motivational Interviewing, Coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). They then provide free online, one-to-one coaching to global clients who otherwise lack access to mental health care, initially promoting behaviour change (e.g., diet, sleep, reducing procrastination) and later progressing to clients experiencing depression or anxiety.</p><h3><strong>About Overcome</strong></h3><p>Overcome is a UK-registered charity (Charity Number: 1191308) providing online mental health coaching worldwide, particularly to underserved communities in developing countries.   <p>We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or CBT Therapist to join our dynamic Diabetes Psychology Team (30 hours per week).</p> <p>If you are an enthusiastic and motivated clinician with experience in working with people with diabetes or Long-Term Conditions (LTC), and you are passionate about delivering evidence-based psychological interventions and service development, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills within a multidisciplinary team and be involved in a key service development project. Regular supervision will be provided.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for delivering a specialist psychology service to patients living with Type 2 diabetes in Well Street Common PCN and Hackney Marshes PCN.</p> <p>Your work within the Diabetes Psychology team will be central to improving patient engagement, self-management, and overall outcomes, with a specific focus on addressing health inequalities. This includes identifying and working with patients who struggle to attend appointments, as well as providing one-to-one and group-based support for individuals struggling with diabetes related distress.
