  <p>We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual who possesses the enthusiasm and determination to succeed in this exciting role.</p> <p>The post holder will coordinate device movements and management within their local equipment library, with the aim of providing medical equipment that is fit for service to the right patient at the right place and in the right location.</p> <p>The range of tasks that fall out from this aim will be carried out to the highest standards toenable clinical staff to provide quality and timely care to patients.</p> <p>Working within agreed protocols and under the direction of more senior members of the team, the successful applicant will be required to carry out a range of tasks, to support the supply of medical equipment to clinical teams.</p> <p>Some broader responsibilities will be rotated over time across the peer group to suit the needs of the service and this will be done through agreement with the post holder, via the appraisal and objective setting process.Added to these duties the post holder will be required to attend meetings, undertake audits, contribute to incident investigation, problem solving and policy review.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures are observed in the course of fulfilling their duties.</p> <p>The post holder may on occasions be required to work within other areas of the Health Board.</p>

  <p>The Specialist Eating Disorders Service are looking to recruit a skilled practitioner who will work collaboratively with them to develop and deliver individual, group and family treatment programmes that address the complex physical, psychological and psychosocial needs of clients and their families/carers.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will provide specialist eating disorder assessments and interventions to clients and their families, education and training to colleagues within the health board and support and supervision to colleagues within the service.   <p>Are you an experienced Speech and Language Therapist looking to specialise in stroke care?</p> <p>Would you love to work in innovative and supportive MDTs where patient centred care and evidence-based practice is prioritised?</p> <p>Do you want to work for an SLT department that is invested in staff wellbeing and professional development?</p> <p>If the answer is <strong>YES</strong>, then Swansea Bay UHB have a part time (30 hours) vacancy you can apply for in our stroke service.</p> <p>SBUHB's stroke service includes acute services at Morriston Hospital, rehabilitation at Neath Port Talbot Hospital and an Early Supported Discharge Service in the community. All parts of the pathway include experienced MDTs allowing for stimulating and creative opportunities for interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary team working.</p> <p>We welcome applications from candidates with the pre-requisite skills at a band 6 specialist level as well as from those who aspire to develop their knowledge and skills. Under Annex 21, we are offering the opportunity to complete a dedicated competency framework, with access to regular supervision from experienced clinicians, focused CPD activities and a clear pathway for completion of your training.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will be required to work and develop skills across all parts of the stroke pathway. They will work in a supportive team under the Acute and Rehab Stroke leads with opportunities to support band 5 SLTs, band 4 SLT assistant and Rehab Technicians. The post holder will need to deliver training to other members of the team and will also provide student placements to SLT undergraduates.</p> <p>You will be working in a team with strong working links across the whole SLT department and opportunities to develop specialist clinical skills and expand professional development with support from specialist colleagues, a Stroke Consultant Therapist and the Neuro-Sciences SLT Clinical Lead. The department is equipped with state of the art equipment to optimize patient care including access to videofluoroscopy clinics, several FEES stacks and instrumental bio-feedback equipment for dysphagia rehabilitation and computer based aphasia therapy. </p> <p>The ideal candidate will be innovative and dynamic, with strong time management and MDT working skills. Specialist clinical skills and knowledge of stroke medicine, the stroke pathway and evidence based practice will be embedded within their clinical practice. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and adaptable to respond to the changing clinical demands across the pathway.</p>

Specialist Speech & Language Therapist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for a 1.0 wte Assistant Psychologist to join our S-CAMHS service in Hywel Dda University Health Board. </p>
<p>It is a permanent role and will be based in Carmarthen. </p>
<p>The successful post holder will provide clinical work under the regular supervision of a clinical psychologist and there will be opportunities for peer reflective practice and training.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working as an Assistant Psychologist.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will be based in Carmarthen but will work flexibly across the S-CAMHs services depending on the needs of the service at that time. Therefore, they are likely to work within teams such as the secondary locality teams, primary services and the Neurodevelopmental Team.</p>
<p>The S-CAMHS service uses the Choice and Partnership Approach as its model of service delivery and when working in secondary locality teams, the post-holder will be required to provide clinical sessions for Partnership work within the locality team, working with young people with a variety of mental health difficulties, and their families. </p>
<p>They will carry a clinical caseload and will be encouraged to develop skills in a range of psychological approaches (e.g. CBT, ACT, systemic). There will also be opportunities to assist with projects within Psychology in S-CAMHS. </p>

The vacancy is full time, permanent and is based in the Carmarthenshire Team. Part time hours may be considered. It is one of three Assistant Psychologist posts in the service. These posts have been developed to support the Clinical Psychology input into the Schools In-Reach/Primary Mental Health Worker Service. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful applicant will be provided with regular clinical supervision from a qualified clinical psychologist in the service, as well as opportunities for regular peer reflective practice. They will carry their own clinical caseload and will be encouraged to develop skills in a range of psychological approaches (eg CBT, ACT, systemic). They will provide psychological assessment and intervention for young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties, via individual and group interventions, thereby giving the opportunity to work within the clinical cycle. An essential aspect of the SIRS service is to provide consultation and training on mental health problems in young people, to professionals in Education. The post holder will be asked to contribute to this as their skills and knowledge develop. There will also be opportunities for service development and research activities within the SIRS/PMHW Service and also within Psychology in the wider S-CAMHS. We have close links with the South Wales Clinical Psychology Doctoral Training Programme. West Wales is a beautiful place to live, especially for those who enjoy outdoor activities.</p>

<p>Join Ty Glyn Ebbw, in Ebbw Vale, a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for Women. You will be working as part of a wide MDT providing evidence-based and focused treatment programmes designed for the individual.</p>
<p>You will have experience in General Adult settings and have experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.&nbsp; You will also have experience of working within acute inpatient or community settings, ideally inpatient settings and have experience in risk assessment and risk management.</p>

<p>Counsellors&nbsp;on Placement provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools. <p><strong>Mental Health Support Worker - Supported Housing - Part time</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Blaenau Gwent (Ebbw Vale and Blaina)</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> 20 hours per week, including participation in a rota (weekends and sleep-ins)</p><p><strong>Contract:</strong> Permanent</p><p><strong>Pro Rata Salary:</strong> 24,242.40 per annum (actual part time salary <strong> 13,852.80)</strong></p><p>The shifts are on a rota of days from 9am to 5pm, or 8am to 4pm - with one sleep-in per week from 3pm to 9am in the morning.</p><p>There will be days that fall on a Saturday or Sunday. </p><p>Part time shifts are one day and one sleep-in </p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We have an exciting opportunity for a <strong>Mental Health Support Worker </strong>to join our Supported Housing team in Blaenau Gwent.</p><p>This is a role where you can make a genuine difference every day - supporting people over the age of 18 who have faced challenges such as poor mental health, homelessness, and multiple complex needs.</p><p>Working within a supported accommodation setting, you will provide a combination of social, emotional, and practical support to help individuals move towards independent living and brighter futures.</p><p>What You'll Do</p><p><strong>As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will:</strong></p><ul><li>Carry out assessments of individuals referred to the service, ensuring their needs are fully understood.</li><li>Manage your own caseload, providing effective, person-centred support.</li><li>Develop support plans with service users and review them regularly to reflect changing needs.</li><li>Encourage independence, enabling people to make informed decisions about their lives.</li><li>Collaborate with external agencies and partners to ensure holistic, joined-up support.</li><li>Maintain accurate records and ensure risk assessments, plans and reviews are kept up to date.</li><li>Contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and homely living environment.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>We are looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient, and motivated to help people overcome barriers and achieve their goals.</p><p>You'll bring:</p><ul><li>Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and relationship-based approaches.</li><li>Experience of working with people experiencing emotional distress and/or mental health challenges.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.</li><li>An understanding of safeguarding for adults.</li><li>A reflective, organised and resilient approach to your work.</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable but not essential:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in supported housing.</li><li>Knowledge of welfare benefits.</li><li>Ability to communicate in Welsh.</li><li>Good knowledge of the Ebbw Vale and Blaina areas. </li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Comprehensive induction and ongoing training to support your development.</li><li>Opportunities to progress and build a career in supported housing and social care.</li><li>A supportive, experienced team environment where your voice matters.</li><li>A role where you can make a real and lasting impact in people's lives.</li></ul><p>Apply Now</p><p>If you are passionate about supporting people to rebuild their lives and achieve independence, we would like to hear from you.</p>
