  <p>The North London Partners - Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service is made up of a full MDT: consultant psychiatrists, clinical/counselling psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, family therapist, nursery nurses, peer support workers and pharmacist. MDT sub-teams staff work closely with the maternity sites in North Central London (Barnet Hospital, Royal Free Hospital, North Middlesex University Hospital, University College Hospital and Whittington Hospital). Clinics normally run at team bases, maternity sites, children's centres, and community centres across the boroughs as well as home visits. Some clinical work is additionally carried out via video call.</p>
<p>This role is for our EAST TEAM. Being a car driver is not essential but is useful</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post-holder will work with service users with complex perinatal mental health needs, identifying goals using specialist assessment and intervention tools. They will contribute to the person-centred clinical care offered by the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) by;</p>
<p>-Carrying out home visits</p>
<p>-Running groups, baby massage, weaning etc</p>
<p>-Providing evidence-based interventions focusing on prevention, promotion, and early intervention</p>
<p>-Liaising with colleagues, external stakeholders, service users and their families.</p>
<p>-Ensuring that safe, evidence based, effective, culturally competent care is delivered in a timely manner to service users.</p>

<p>The post holder will undertake screening , triage and in some cases full assessment of new referrals to the PCMHT. This will include urgent assessments of 17 year old or rising 18 year olds at crisis point and short and medium term care co-ordination.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The department is based in two new eye units at both St Helier and Epsom Hospitals. It is a forward looking department with 13 consultants including 3 with an interest in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. There are close links with the Royal Marsden hospital and the St Georges Hospitals and we are part of the MDT team providing care for these oncology and neuro-surgical patients. The department also provides eye carefor children and young people at the Tadworth Children's Trust. The department is supported by 8 WTE orthoptists, 2 WTE optometrists and 6WTE technician staff. We provide in house contact lens service and low vision service. We have the benefit of state of the art ophthalmic imaging systems including Optos and OCT and FFA imaging which have allowed us to transform our pathways. This is a full time post which requires cross site working</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are looking for an experienced Orthoptist to join our Ophthalmology team and lead the Orthoptic and Optometry clinical service across Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. The post holder will be responsible for leading our team of orthoptists and for providing expert knowledge in the assessment of visual function and ocular motility disorders in all age groups, low vision services and stroke visual rehabilitation. They will manage our team of Optometrists and imaging technicians and be overall responsible for the ophthalmic imaging. The successful candidate will also provide a school vision screening service for the residents of Merton and support Ophthalmology clinical research. The post holder will ensure provision of and be accountable for, the delivery of an efficient, high quality and caring Orthoptic and Optometry clinical service across Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, which meets service and client requirements and encompasses a wide range of specialist expertise and client groups.</p>

<p>Croydon Drop In (CDI) are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Qualified Volunteer Counsellor to work within our award-winning Voluntary Sector services. The post-holder will work within our safeguarding protocols to provide safe interventions for children and young people using evidence-based methodologies. The post holder will safely work with people across different cultural backgrounds and ages and will be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.</p>
<p>Counselling is delivered by experienced qualified contracted counsellors, and our team is supported by qualified volunteer counsellors who wish to give back to the community, require a stepping stone to a paid counselling role or are independently working toward increasing their client contact hours or are working toward their accreditation.</p>
<p>To meet the standard criteria you will:</p>

<li>Ba a graduate or at post graduate level in counselling or have completed a level 4 Diploma or equivalent in Therapeutic Counselling</li>

<p><strong>The Vacancy</strong></p><p>A fantastic opportunity has arisen within PAM Occupational Health Solutions for an&nbsp;<strong>Occupational Health Technician</strong>&nbsp;to join our OH Screening Team within the Private/Public sector and support some of our well-established clients.</p><p><strong>Covering - South London, Brixton, and a need for Croydon,&nbsp;Crawley and willingness to travel UK Wide ​- Car allowance provided</strong></p><p>You will be expected to contribute to the Occupational Health Screening division’s success, working closely with your regional colleagues, other associated clinicians and client services colleagues to ensure the delivery of Safe, Effective, and Quality Occupational Health services.</p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for the support and delivery of Occupational Health Services on various contracts from construction to the food industry, providing a high-quality health screening service to our client's employees, whilst increasing the business quality through effective relationship building with employees &amp; managers.</p><p><strong>Traveling is a key part of the role as the role is peripatetic and a willingness to travel UK-wide is needed to attend training and cover annual leave and sickness absence, however, PAM will always look to minimise this.</strong></p><p>Hours/Working Week are Monday-Friday 40 hours per week.</p><p><strong>Key accountabilities &amp; responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Conduct all aspects of health surveillance and fitness for work medicals/safety critical medicals in line with client standards and requirements</p><p>Drug and alcohol screening</p><p>Ensure that all documentation is uploaded to OHIO in the relevant areas</p><p>Store all data in line with Data Protection Principles</p><p>Maintaining confidentiality at all times</p><p>Ensuring KPI’s are met</p><p>Ensuring consistency of service delivery</p><p>Monitoring OHIO compliance to ensure that all information is correct and complete</p><p>Ensuring an excellent customer experience</p><p>Keep working practices in line with company accreditations including ISO 9001, 27001, SEQOHS, RISQS, and IIP</p><p>Ensure all medical equipment is calibrated and safety tested</p><p>Providing support to new team members</p><p>Escalations are conducted appropriately</p><p>Work in collaboration with all members of the OH Team</p><p><strong>Skills, Experience &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><p>Sports Science Qualification or similar/Occupational Health Technician experience delivering health screening/medicals is preferable but not essential</p><p>Competent at managing client communication</p><p>Highly organised and process-driven individual</p><p>Ability to liaise with other departments and colleagues to achieve results</p><p>Results orientated and customer-focused</p><p>IT Literacy</p><p>Effective communication skills.</p><p>Ability to collate, prepare and deliver wellbeing content</p><p>Good organisation skills, the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise.</p><p>The ability and commitment to desire to be part of a team that seeks to provide the highest levels in a professional services business.</p><p>Understanding of Confidentiality</p><p>Good report writing skills</p><p><strong>Our Values &amp; Benefits</strong></p><ul>	<li>We pay your auto-enrolment pension contribution of 8%, you can also make enhanced contributions which are matched up to a further 5%</li>	<li>33 days annual leave including bank holidays with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days (FTE)</li>	<li>Life insurance scheme valued at 4x your annual salary</li>	<li>Income protection</li>	<li>Health Cash Plan Scheme, which covers you for things like Opticians, Dental Treatment and even Physio if needed!</li>	<li>Perkbox membership with amazing discounts on things like food and drink, retail and days out, all through our rewards scheme</li>	<li>Long service rewards</li>	<li>Flexible Working Hours</li>	<li>Access to a 24/7 EAP Counselling line and a 24/7 GP line and wellness support</li>	<li>Support with training and development</li>	<li>Group Income Protection</li></ul><p>At PAM we are passionate about people and delivering our Everyday Things That Matter Values and Behaviours to our customers and our colleagues.
