  <p>This post is part of the Perinatal Psychological Therapies leadership team responsible for overseeing the Psychology provision in their patch. The Clinical Psychology team across the service comprises one band 8b Clinical Psychologist, band 8a Practitioner Psychologists, band 7 Practitioner Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists, Trainee Clinical Psychologists and Honorary Placement Students.</p>
<p>The post holder will actively contribute to the planning, development and evaluation of perinatal mental health services using advanced clinical leadership skills and knowledge to provide training and consultancy in clinical psychology within the specialty area of perinatal mental health. The post holder will be responsible for assessing and treating service users in Camden and Islington. 20% of their workload is expected to be management &amp; leadership and 80% will be clinical interventions. They are expected to hold a highly complex caseload.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p><strong>The current post advertised is for 1 part-time (0.4wte), permanent role for Senior Perinatal Practitioner Psychological Therapist (BABCP accredited): </strong></p> <p><strong>Based in the East Team, with boroughs of responsibility Enfield &amp; Haringey.</strong></p> <p><strong>Important note: The successful candidate will be expected to build community links, referral pathways and provide clinical assessments and evidence based interventions both at their borough of responsibility and their team base. The post holder will jointly oversee the Perinatal Psychology caseload of the East sub-team (Enfield and Haringey) with another 8a already in post.</strong></p>  <p>The post holder will ensure the formulation of profession specific highly specialist care and treatment plans which provide specialist interventions / care to service users with complex mental health conditions. The post holder will be responsible for supporting and supervising band 7 Psychologists and/or trainees, ensuring that the SPMHS Psychology team understands and operates to the requirements of the service line operational policy and service line strategy and that safe, evidence based, NICE concordant, effective, culturally competent care is delivered in a timely manner to service users.</p>

  <p>The Barts Inherited Cardiac Conditions (ICC) team is looking to recruit a motivated Genetic Counsellor to join our dynamic team. The post-holder will work closely and collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to provide exemplary care to patients with cardiomyopathies and complex medical needs. Prior experience in cardiac genetics is desirable but not essential.</p> <p>The post-holder will work autonomously to manage their own caseload to deliver gold-standard, person-centred genetic counselling to a diverse cohort patients and their families. Applicants must have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.</p> <p>As one of the country's leading specialist cardiac centres, aiming to be at the forefront of care provision and service design, it is expected that the post-holder will work closely with both regional and national specialist genetic counsellors from other Trusts, as well as participate in local multidisciplinary team meetings and third-sector organisations.</p> <p>The successful candidate will embody the Trust's WeCare values and these will shape their everyday working.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The aim of this service is to provide genetic counselling for patients with cardiovascular conditions, primarily focusing on inherited cardiomyopathies. The post holder will provide appropriate testing for patients and their relatives, adhering to national testing criteria. Applicants must be able to deliver patient and family centered care, whilst ensuring adequate follow-up, documentation and risk management.</p> <p>In addition to direct patient care, applicants are expected to contribute to the development of the field of cardiac genetics. The post-holder will participate in research and it's dissemination, by contributing to both publication and education. Thereby, furthering MDT knowledge and understanding of this fascinating group of conditions and, therefore, improving patient care.</p>
