  <p>Generic CAMHS support children / young people and their families where there is concern about emotional or behavioural difficulties. Assessment and therapy can be provided to children, young people, and families, where appropriate CAMHS clinicians consult with other professionals.</p>  <p>As a Senior Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapist in our multi-disciplinary team, you will be assessing young people, delivering evidence-based therapeutic support, and contributing to the overall development and provision of the service. The service is based at Bay Tree House, Enfield, EN2 6NZ. <p>The post holder will have a desire to develop their skills in working with adults with severe and enduring mental illness, some of whom will have not had previous access to psychologically informed interventions.</p>
<p>The post-holder will work collaboratively with service users, their families, carers, and multi-disciplinary team members to provide assessment, care planning and coordination of care, supporting collaborative decision-making about care and treatment.</p>
<p>The post holder will support the delivery of a set of wellbeing-focused psychologically informed interventions, aligned to cognitive-behavioural principles, based on the best evidence available, that address problems often experienced by people with severe mental health problems under the supervision of a clinical/counselling psychologist or CBT therapist, where this is identified in personalised care planning and support.</p>

  <p>Harrow MHST works with young people with mild to moderatemental health presentations attending school/college within the Borough of Harrow. </p> <p>TheMHST has three core functions:</p> <p> To deliver evidence-based interventions for mild-to-moderate mental health issues;</p> <p> To support the senior mental health lead (where established) in each school or college to introduce or develop the whole school or college approach and;</p> <p> To give timely advice to school and college staff, and liaise with external specialist services to help children and young people to get the right support and stay in education.</p> <p>The role for the Occupational Therapy Assistant is to support the delivery of MHST interventions.   <p><strong>Family &amp; Systemic Psychotherapist preceptorship role</strong></p> <p>In a preceptorship role, it is expected that you will progress within 18-24 months post-qualification to band 8a.</p> <p><strong>Overview of the Post</strong></p> <p>Bexley CAMHS provides specialist mental health care for children and young people from birth to 18 years with their parents/families/carers. We provide specialist assessment and treatment for children and young people with severe and enduring emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties. The service provides a responsive, timely and accessible service, targeted at those children, young people and their families who are most in need of specialist mental health services.</p> <p>This post is in Maple Team which works with those young people at risk of an inpatient admission. The team provides a rapid response service to adolescents with severe and complex mental health problems who are at risk of inpatient admission. The team provides outreach and intensive multi-disciplinary interventions as a community alternative to inpatient care. Team members also provide consultation, advice and support to professionals and carers involved with the young people. The team uses mentalization based approaches (AMBIT, MBT-A, MBT-F).</p>

  <p>This post holder is situated within Bexley CAMH Service.</p> <p> To provide the CAMHS team with a high quality, evidence based systemic psychotherapy service to children, their families, carers and professional networks, in keeping with CYP-IAPT principles. </p> <p> To provide specialist systemic assessment and therapy to families with children and adolescents who are referred to CAMHS. </p> <p> To provide specialist advice and consultation regarding diagnoses and treatment to CAMHS colleagues, external agencies, working autonomously within professional guidelines and within a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to overall service delivery as required. </p> <p> To contribute to the development, implementation and audit of services for families with children presenting to the Service.</p>
