  <p>We are looking for a compassionate psychologist (clinical/ forensic) to join us at Ridgeway in our Secure Inpatient Psychology Service TEWV NHS Trust. It is a Fixed Term 12month post to cover maternity leave. Experience working with a Learning Disability population is preferrable.</p> <p>The post would suit an enthusiastic Psychologist, valuing the opportunity to work collaboratively with members of a well-established multi-disciplinary team, where psychology is a core treatment offer. A key part of this role will be using clinical leadership skills to influence teams to embed formulations, psychological understanding and psychosocial interventions in everyday practice.</p> <p>As a service, we are keen to support and invest in the ongoing development of our Psychologists through CPD opportunities, so an interest in developing clinical skills across a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches is essential. The Psychologist would have the opportunity to gain experience working with a diverse population that includes male and female mental health, learning disability, autism and older adults, including those who may have experienced trauma and/ or neurological difficulties.</p>

<p>seeking We are looking for an experienced CAMHS practitioner with an up to date core profession and registration to join our Crisis and Home Treatment (CAHTS) team.</p>
<p>We are a close knit leadership team who provide a crisis and home treatment service to children and young people across Bristol, Swindon and Wiltshire CAMHS.   <p><strong>Band 8a full time post, with Band 7 - 8a preceptorship opportunities available</strong></p> <p>This post offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic psychologist within the Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Community Learning Disability Team, part of the wider North Yorkshire, York &amp; Selby Learning Disability Service.</p> <p>We are seeking to appoint a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist who is passionate about working with people with learning disabilities. The vacancy is open to an existing Band 8A psychologist or a Band 7psychologist wishing to progress in their career. We will also consider offering a preceptorship option for a newly or recently qualified clinical or counselling psychologist who may not yet meet the essential criteria; to progress from a band 7 into the band 8a position. </p> <p>The post offers many excitingdevelopmental and creative opportunities.</p> <p>The post holder will have a key role in providing psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to service users, their families, carers, and staff teams. This may be through direct therapeutic support using various adapted psychological approaches or indirect work with a service user's support system using psychologically informed thinking.</p> <p>An additional element to this role is offering neuropsychological assessments to service users, alongside reflective practice, consultation, and supervision. An interest in working with Trauma Informed Care approaches would be welcomed.</p>

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, motivated, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent health care and evidence-based practice.     <ul>  <li>Provide a psychology service to the designated team, including assessment and therapy for individuals and groups as appropriate.</li>  <li>Offer specialist consultancy to multidisciplinary teams and other agencies providing care for the client group.</li>  <li>Participate in generic team duties as agreed by the operational manager and Psychology Lead, according to the needs of the service.</li>  <li>Engage in clinical and caseload supervision arrangements provided by the Psychology Service.</li>  <li>Maintain accurate records and monitor clinical workload using agreed systems.</li>  <li>Ensure timely recording of all data required by the Trust.</li>  <li>Support the full implementation of CPA, acting as care coordinator as appropriate to the needs of the service.</li> </ul> <p>Professional:</p> <ul>  <li>Adhere to HCPC policies and procedures.</li>  <li>Fully observe the BPS (2009) Code of Conduct and the DCP Generic Professional Practice Guidelines (2008).</li>  <li>Be aware of, adhere to, and where appropriate contribute to the formulation and review of Trust, Area, and Clinical Psychology Service policies and procedures.</li>  <li>Participate in local psychology meetings and Trust-wide meetings as appropriate.</li>  <li>Maintain and develop high standards of psychology practice by engaging in continuing professional development and collaborative working/networking with counselling and clinical psychology colleagues.</li>  <li>Participate in an annual performance appraisal.</li> </ul> <p>Please see the attached Job Description for a full list of duties and responsibilities.</p>
