  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a PWP you play an integral part in the everyday workings of the service, from promotional work to assessing patients to providing clinical evidence-based interventions to help service users make lasting changes in managing their mental health.</p> <p>Post holders will be completing clinical contacts 1:1 face to face, over the telephone, video consultation, group courses (remotely and in person) and CBT. Where needed, holding discussions with step 3 and/or step 4 clinicians to ensure step ups and safe onward referrals are completed and that patient dignity and confidentiality is maintained at all times. There will also be opportunities for community outreach work to promote the work we do to other services, educational settings and careers events.</p> <p>The post-holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities. The post-holder will be required to work at any times between 8am and 8pm on weekdays, as required by the service. You'll be working as part of a team that has recently won the Oxford Health staff 2024 Flexible team award.   <p>Working as part of our multi-disciplinary team, which consists of Psychologists, Family therapists, Psychotherapists, Children's Wellbeing Practitioners, Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists, and in a team where a number of specialist clinics are offered eg LD, NDC, FT, ED, you will find plenty of opportunities to learn from colleagues and share expertise.</p>
<p>On a day-to-day basis, you will be working within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Service ensuring the systemic provision of a high-quality specialist clinical psychology service to clients with eating disorders and complex mental health problems including severe, enduring and multiple disorders. You undertaking mental health assessments, formulating, risk assessing and devising evidence-based care plans for children and young people (CYP). Collaborative working is key and we are proud of the relationships the team has with partner agencies including Salisbury District Hospital.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>To provide a high-quality, specialist clinical psychology service to older adults admitted to the inpatient mental health ward. The postholder will deliver psychological assessment, formulation, interventions and group therapy for individuals experiencing complex mental health difficulties, cognitive decline, and/or dementia-related conditions. They will also contribute to staff training, supervision, and service development, supporting the ward in delivering trauma-informed, person-centred care.</p>

  <p>Clinical :</p>

<li>Provide specialist psychological assessments using a range of psychometric, neuropsychological, and observational tools.</li>

<p>Develop and share psychological formulations to inform multidisciplinary care planning.</p>

<p>Deliver individual and group psychological interventions tailored to the needs of older adults (e.g. CBT, ACT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, reminiscence approaches).</p>

The ward supports service users and their families with a range of different treatments and therapies. Oakwood is our ward for older people with mental health problems arising from functional disorders such as depression, anxiety or psychosis. Care is provided by amulti-disciplinary team using a biopsychosocial model of understanding.</p>   <p>This post is advertised as a developmental post from Band 8b to 8c with Approved clinician training a requirement for progression. This post will help to enhance the psychological offer for the wards as well as building a more robust workforce in relation to Approved clinician capacity.</p>     <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be responsible for professional leadership and governance of the older adult inpatient psychology team. Clinically you will work on both Ruskin and Oakwood wards and be part of the ward leadership team. You will also provide high quality evidence based psychological assessment, formulation, and interventions to service users. You will also be responsible for providing advice, consultation, and training to colleagues on psychological aspects of assessment, formulation, care, and treatment.</p>  <p>You will undertake the UNN Approved Clinician training and be given support to access appropriate cases and supervision.</p>  <p>On completion of the Approved clinician training, you will have an agreed job plan which combines the Consultant Clinical Psychologist post with Approved clinician responsibilities in an agreed job plan.</p>  <p>You will also be part of the wider Older People's Psychological Service in North Cumbria which consists of Clinical Psychologists, a CBT Therapist and Assistant Psychologists. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>HCRG Care Group Wiltshire Children and Young Peoples emotional wellbeing service are currently seeking a passionate and experienced children and young person's counsellor to work in the team. You will provide support to children and young people who may be experiencing a range of issues, such as but not limited to anxiety, gender dysphoria, depression, family problems and self- harm. Support will be provided in person and/or remotely depending on the clients needs.</p><p>This role is part of the wider wellbeing team who offer early support such as group work and positive activities with the aim of preventing escalation to more specialist CAMHS services.</p><p>You will have an active caseload of children and young people within the getting help sphere of support and will use evidence-based therapeutic models. Low intensity, early interventions will be delivered in a range of settings and will include parental and family support.</p>
