  <p>This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service which we are delivering across Bolton: The Mental Health Support Team (MHST).</p> <p>There is significant focus on transforming Children and Young People's Mental Health Services within the NHS.   <p>Providing talking therapies to clients with Eating Disorders, providing supervision/training to other staff and acting as a part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team. They will carry a caseload of complex clients and be expected to be an important contributor in the team management of the most complex clients who present to the service.</p> <p>The successful candidate will undertake direct clinical work, supervision, consultation and contribute to teaching and service development as well as helping to consult and guide on client's psychological care, from a trauma informed perspective. The team are trained in different therapy models including CBT, CAT, EMDR and integrative therapy and you will be encouraged and supported to undertake further training.</p> <p>Previous experience of eating disorders is necessary. You will be provided with professional and clinical supervision, and there will be multiple opportunities to develop your specialist clinical skills. There are opportunities to link with other Practitioners working in the eating disorder community and inpatient services across the Trust, and more widely across other services</p>

Clinical Psychotherapist - Eating Disorder Service

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about Neurorehabilitation (NR) for a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment. Applicants with relevant clinical experience seeking opportunity of a more senior role may also be considered. The post holder will gain excellent clinical expertise and leadership skills across the neuro rehab pathway working with our specialist teams and support patients accessing the Level 1 units in Salford, and Level 2 unit in Rochdale (Floyd Unit). Site base will be dependent on skills and experience of successful applicant.</p> <p>Applicants must have established skills in management of dysphagia, acquired communication disorders, and experience of working with patients with tracheostomy. Complex neuro presentations include patients on the 'Prolonged Disorder of Consciousness' (PDOC) spectrum and 'Cognitive Communication Disorder' (CCD). </p> <p>You will be joining a dynamic and friendly MDT and will also be part of the larger Neuro Rehab SLT service. We are a team that pursues innovation, and support CPD and research opportunities. Examples of previous pilots and collaborations include Phagenyx, Music therapy, collaboration with Ace Centre and the ongoing Facial Rehab Pathway Project work with the 'Greater Manchester Neurorehabilitation and Integrated Stroke Delivery Network' (GMNISDN). </p> <p>Informal visits and enquiries are welcome. </p>

  <p>To join our Neurorehabilitation service on a Fixed Term/secondment basis and support the limited band 7 rotation covering our Level 1 units at Salford (C2 and L1) and Level 2 unit (Floyd Unit) in Rochdale. Site base will be dependent on skills and experience of successful applicant.</p> <p>-To provide highly specialist evidenced based input to the provision and development of Speech and Language Therapy in NR.</p> <p>- To lead on and coordinate management of complex communication disorders within this caseload, including patients with; tracheostomy, 'prolonged disorders of consciousness' (PDOC), 'locked in syndrome' and 'cognitive communication disorder'. </p> <p>-To lead on and coordinate management of complex dysphagia within this caseload, including patients with tracheostomy.</p> <p>- ependent on existing skills you may have opportunity to join the Salford VFS and FEES rota and will be required to support the mobile FEES service for INRU within MCCN.</p> <p>-You will support the Senior management team with service development projects for Neurorehabilitation and in line with the Greater Manchester transformation project.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Youth Worker to the Paediatric Diabetes team within The Northern Care Alliance. The postholder will work across the areas of Bury, Rochdale, Oldham and Salford as part of the multi-disciplinary team using specific skills to contribute to the non-clinical aspects of care for young people with diabetes, their families and carers.</p> <p>The post holder will focus on ensuring young people will be effectively supported in the process of transition. This will involve engagement and communication with young people to support and develop positive self-care behaviours, promote engagement with the diabetes team and provide strategies to navigate health care systems for their long-term health needs.</p> <p>The Youth Worker is an integral member of the diabetes clinical team and will work very closely with the Lead Nurses. Transition is the process whereby young people prepare for the transfer to adult services. The appointed candidate will play a key role in the 3 processes of transition; beginning of transition where the concept is introduced, the middle phase where the CYP and their family get actively into transition and the final phase when the CYP are integrated into adult service. </p> <p>Communicating with young people is imperative within this role to support the young people's overall well-being, encompassing physical, mental and social health. The role will focus on empowering young people to manage their health conditions and navigate healthcare.</p>
