  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To work as an integral member of the gastroenterology clinical team. To be responsible for the specialist nutrition and dietetic management of patients on the caseload using specialist knowledge and skills.</p> <p>To support the prevention of unplanned hospital admissions, responding to patients who require urgent assessments and in collaboration with the patient and community integrated team, set up management plans to enable the patient to stay at home where possible.</p> <p>To work as an integral member of multi-disciplinary teams and Nutrition &amp; Dietetic service acting as an expert on the dietetic management of patients providing advice, support and training to staff, advising on change in dietetic treatment in line with evidence based practise.</p> <p>To work alongside the Band 7 Team Leads and other clinical leads, as an expert on the dietetic management of conditions related to your current rotation.   <p>Successful candidates will be working in a dynamic multidisciplinary team that provides a full spectrum of therapeutic input allowing clients to engage in rehabilitation as an inpatient, and outpatient and then carrying their achievements into their lives.</p><p>Our clients have experienced catastrophic life changing injuries and require a holistic approach in order to achieve their maximum potential.</p><p>As a member of this team, you will be supported with your training and CPD needs and desires. <p>There are opportunities for team working and facilitating groups such as MBT/CBT based interventions.</p>
<p>Our AMHT provide an assessment and treatment function and the staff working within the team work on a rota covering shifts from 07.00 to 21.00 (7 days/week). The successful candidate will be required to work mainly 9-5 Monday to Friday however there is an expectation that there is flexibility to cover the out of hours shifts when required.</p>
