As an integral team in the Urgent Care Pathway we work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.   <p>An opportunity has arisen for a band 4 Generic Therapy Technical Instructor to work within Ty Croes Atti Discharge to Recover and Assess Unit (D2RA). Ty Croes Atti aims to provide a 24 hour approach to rehab, promoting independence and assessing a service user's care and rehab needs with the ultimate goal of returning home.</p>
<p>We are looking for a motivated, hard-working, proactive individual who will be able to work alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, other TIs and Support Workers. The role sits within the Flintshire Unscheduled Care Team where we value the importance of continuing professional development and Peer support. The successful candidate will be supported with supervision, appraisals and identifying learning opportunities and training.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>
<li>Gathering of baseline information to assist the Therapy Assessments.</li>
<li>Carry out therapeutic interventions following initial assessments carried out by the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.</li>
<li>Interventions will include progression of transfers and mobility, delivery of exercise programmes including exercise classes and practicing activities of daily living such as washing and dressing and meal preparation.</li>
<li>As a Band 4 TI you will also work independently to promote wellbeing, safety and independence within essential activities of daily living, by providing instruction, advice and treatment to the service-user and/or their carers.</li>
</ul>

  <p>We are seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about Neurorehabilitation (NR) for a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment. Applicants with relevant clinical experience seeking opportunity of a more senior role may also be considered. The post holder will gain excellent clinical expertise and leadership skills across the neuro rehab pathway working with our specialist teams and support patients accessing the Level 1 units in Salford, and Level 2 unit in Rochdale (Floyd Unit). Site base will be dependent on skills and experience of successful applicant.</p> <p>Applicants must have established skills in management of dysphagia, acquired communication disorders, and experience of working with patients with tracheostomy. Complex neuro presentations include patients on the 'Prolonged Disorder of Consciousness' (PDOC) spectrum and 'Cognitive Communication Disorder' (CCD). </p> <p>You will be joining a dynamic and friendly MDT and will also be part of the larger Neuro Rehab SLT service. We are a team that pursues innovation, and support CPD and research opportunities. Examples of previous pilots and collaborations include Phagenyx, Music therapy, collaboration with Ace Centre and the ongoing Facial Rehab Pathway Project work with the 'Greater Manchester Neurorehabilitation and Integrated Stroke Delivery Network' (GMNISDN). </p> <p>Informal visits and enquiries are welcome. </p>

  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative radiographer/technician who ideally has previous experience working in Nuclear Medicine, to join our small team.</p>
<p>We are a state of the art department comprising of 2 hybrid SPECT/CT scanners and 1 dual headed gamma camera. We carry out diagnostic imaging, non imaging examinations and treat benign and malignant diseases by means of our therapy service.</p>

  <p>The successful candidate will be required to undertake a full range of Nuclear Medicine duties including routine scanning, processing, dispensing and administration of Radiopharmaceuticals using relevant systems of work and applications. Rotate through radio pharmacy production, and learn specialised skills such as sentinel node localisation and myocardial perfusion stress testing.</p>

  <p>HHFT supports specialist services for rare and complex illnesses for patients from across the UK, including liver cancer, colorectal cancer and pseudomyxoma peritonei. We undertake a wide variety of CT imaging examinations to complement these specialities including body imaging, CT colonography and Cardiac CT. We also perform a wide range of vascular, oncological, MSK, trauma and neurological studies.</p> <p>Therefore, with the expansion of Radiology services over the next few years and enhanced scope of practice available, this is an ideal opportunity to expand your portfolio.</p> <p>We welcome applications from experienced CT radiographers with effective leadership skills who have a proactive approach to providing outstanding care for every patient. Ideal candidates will be a well organised team player with great clinical knowledge, good communication skills, with the ability to prioritise ever-changing worklists.   <p>Day to do day running of our busy CT department, providing the best possible care to our patients</p>
