As an integral team in the Urgent Care Pathway we work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We work with people who are experiencing a mental health crisis, require extra support alongside their regular support network or who can have the same treatment provided at home that they would receive in a Mental Health Hospital.</p> <p>We are a team that consists of Band 5 and 6 Nurses, Band 3 Support Workers, Non-Medical Prescribers, Medical Staff, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Administrators and Business Support Staff. </p> <p>As we work with people with all types of mental health presentations, we need to have a range of skills and interests that create a strong and responsive team.</p>

  <p>We are seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about Neurorehabilitation (NR) for a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment. Applicants with relevant clinical experience seeking opportunity of a more senior role may also be considered. The post holder will gain excellent clinical expertise and leadership skills across the neuro rehab pathway working with our specialist teams and support patients accessing the Level 1 units in Salford, and Level 2 unit in Rochdale (Floyd Unit). Site base will be dependent on skills and experience of successful applicant.</p> <p>Applicants must have established skills in management of dysphagia, acquired communication disorders, and experience of working with patients with tracheostomy. Complex neuro presentations include patients on the 'Prolonged Disorder of Consciousness' (PDOC) spectrum and 'Cognitive Communication Disorder' (CCD). </p> <p>You will be joining a dynamic and friendly MDT and will also be part of the larger Neuro Rehab SLT service. We are a team that pursues innovation, and support CPD and research opportunities. Examples of previous pilots and collaborations include Phagenyx, Music therapy, collaboration with Ace Centre and the ongoing Facial Rehab Pathway Project work with the 'Greater Manchester Neurorehabilitation and Integrated Stroke Delivery Network' (GMNISDN). </p> <p>Informal visits and enquiries are welcome. </p>

  <p>To join our Neurorehabilitation service on a Fixed Term/secondment basis and support the limited band 7 rotation covering our Level 1 units at Salford (C2 and L1) and Level 2 unit (Floyd Unit) in Rochdale. Site base will be dependent on skills and experience of successful applicant.</p> <p>-To provide highly specialist evidenced based input to the provision and development of Speech and Language Therapy in NR.</p> <p>- To lead on and coordinate management of complex communication disorders within this caseload, including patients with; tracheostomy, 'prolonged disorders of consciousness' (PDOC), 'locked in syndrome' and 'cognitive communication disorder'. </p> <p>-To lead on and coordinate management of complex dysphagia within this caseload, including patients with tracheostomy.</p> <p>- ependent on existing skills you may have opportunity to join the Salford VFS and FEES rota and will be required to support the mobile FEES service for INRU within MCCN.</p> <p>-You will support the Senior management team with service development projects for Neurorehabilitation and in line with the Greater Manchester transformation project. Networking with other Neurorehabilitation services and the Greater Manchester Network will be part of your role.</p> <p>There may be opportunity to join Salford VFS and FEES rota, and support of the mobile FEES service for the Level 2 units within MCCN, dependent on existing skill.</p>

  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative radiographer/technician who ideally has previous experience working in Nuclear Medicine, to join our small team.</p>
<p>We are a state of the art department comprising of 2 hybrid SPECT/CT scanners and 1 dual headed gamma camera. We carry out diagnostic imaging, non imaging examinations and treat benign and malignant diseases by means of our therapy service.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will be required to undertake a full range of Nuclear Medicine duties including routine scanning, processing, dispensing and administration of Radiopharmaceuticals using relevant systems of work and applications. Rotate through radio pharmacy production, and learn specialised skills such as sentinel node localisation and myocardial perfusion stress testing.</p>

The department has dedicated specialist lists which include CT colonography, cardiac, angiograms and interventional radiology procedures. The CTC list is radiographer led with a CTC reporting radiographer.</p> <p>We have recently been through a departmental refurbishment and installation of 3 new state of the art Canon CT scanners as part of the Radiology Managed Service contract.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>HHFT supports specialist services for rare and complex illnesses for patients from across the UK, including liver cancer, colorectal cancer and pseudomyxoma peritonei. We undertake a wide variety of CT imaging examinations to complement these specialities including body imaging, CT colonography and Cardiac CT. We also perform a wide range of vascular, oncological, MSK, trauma and neurological studies.</p> <p>Therefore, with the expansion of Radiology services over the next few years and enhanced scope of practice available, this is an ideal opportunity to expand your portfolio.</p> <p>We welcome applications from experienced CT radiographers with effective leadership skills who have a proactive approach to providing outstanding care for every patient. Ideal candidates will be a well organised team player with great clinical knowledge, good communication skills, with the ability to prioritise ever-changing worklists. The teams consist of occupational therapists, a physiotherapist, arts therapists, a horticulturalist, psychologists as well as a full MDT.</p> <p>There are regular opportunities to network with other OTs to share ideas and good practice, engage in CPD and funded external courses including Masters or PGDip level study in a variety of specialties such as Sensory Integration, Trauma Informed Care &amp; Reducing Restrictive Practice.</p> <p>Robust supervision from the Band 7 and 8 OTs with growth opportunities will support the post-holder to develop as a Band 6 level using a bespoke training package.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
