  <p>Provide clinical leadership under the supervision of the Head of Service, in the delivery of the Music Therapy service within specialist area by:</p> <ul>  <li>Developing, implementing, maintaining and cascading Music Therapy clinical standards in line with current evidence based best practice</li>  <li>Developing a competency based framework for practitioners working within the specialist area </li>  <li>Critical analysis, appraisal and synthesis of current research outcomes and/or relevant literature in order to maintain expert levels of knowledge and practice</li>  <li>Establish working partnerships with voluntary, third sector services as appropriate.</li>  <li>Actively participating in developing services as part of a national and local clinical network.</li>  <li>Develop care pathways, local clinical standards, guidelines and protocols informed by evidence for specialist area.</li> </ul>

  <p>We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a CBT Trainee, as part of the NHS England Workforce, Training and Education (NHSE WT&amp;E) funded Recruit to Train Programme, in partnership with the University of Reading, Charlie Waller Institute. The post-holders will be training on the Children &amp; Young People Mental Health (CYP-MH) CBT Course, which is accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). They will be carrying out clinical work in our service to complement their studies and use their newly developed skills. We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic mental health practitioners to work and train within our service.</p> <p>These are fixed term posts with this training year funded by NHSE WT&amp;E. After successful completion of the course the fixed term training contract will end however applicants would be encouraged to apply for any vacant posts within the service and will be provided support and advice in job applications.</p> <p>Responsibilities will include direct clinical work and management of complex and sometimes high risk cases with support of your line manager and clinical supervisor. You will be a member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and involved in MDT meetings and broader service developments. You will be expected to liaise with other agencies involved in the care of the children and young people on your caseload, including schools, social care or other community agencies.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The role will be suited to applicants that are able to balance a very busy work &amp; study schedule. You will be an employee by service &amp; also enrolled on a Postgraduate Diploma course. As this is a Postgraduate level training, you will be required to study &amp; perform at this academic level. Applicants must be prepared to work towards their studies outside of protected study time (such as on weekends and after work). Protected study time or teaching days are typically 2 days a week during term (with possibility of extra university days near start) and will be a mixture of in person and online sessions.   <p>This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to lead the psychological provision for Isle of Dogs Neighbourhood Mental Health Team.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be Lead Psychologist for a vibrant multi-disciplinary team working with service users and their families presenting with diverse and complex social and health needs. You will work closely with the Operational and Clinical Leads to ensure the delivery of a high quality, accessible, and inclusive psychological service drawing on a range of psychological approaches. You will promote psychological and trauma-informed practice within the teams and wider service area through consultation (informal and formal), training and reflective practice. You will supervise a Band 7 psychologist as well as other psychological staff. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from psychology, Arts Therapy and Occupational Therapy to jointly develop a borough-wide groups therapies programme. There are significant opportunities for service development, quality improvement, and innovative practice in this post as part of the Trust's Community Health Transformation Programme.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a PWP you play an integral part in the everyday workings of the service, from promotional work to assessing patients to providing clinical evidence-based interventions to help service users make lasting changes in managing their mental health.</p> <p>Post holders will be completing clinical contacts 1:1 face to face, over the telephone, video consultation, group courses (remotely and in person) and CBT. Where needed, holding discussions with step 3 and/or step 4 clinicians to ensure step ups and safe onward referrals are completed and that patient dignity and confidentiality is maintained at all times. There will also be opportunities for community outreach work to promote the work we do to other services, educational settings and careers events.</p> <p>The post-holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities. The post-holder will be required to work at any times between 8am and 8pm on weekdays, as required by the service. The post-holder will also be required to participate in evening clinics offered by the service between 5pm and 8pm.</p> <p>Alongside LI and HI CBT, the service offers Counselling for Depression, Couples Therapy for Depression, Mindfulness based CBT, IPT and EMDR.   <p>This is an exciting opportunity to join a relatively new team on a fixed term basis. The Therapeutic Interventions for Distressing unusual Experiences Service (TIDES) is a team working therapeutically with young people across Norfolk &amp; Waveney which aims to help young people at risk of developing psychosis who are experiencing an at-risk mental state.</p> <p>Your choice of base could be Norwich, Great Yarmouth, or King's Lynn. However you would be expected to work flexibly between bases in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Kings Lynn, and home.</p> <p>We are accepting those with core professions from: mental health nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers. (You will require an up-to date registration).</p> <p>We are a supported team currently made up of clinical psychology, systemic family therapy, cognitive behavioural therapists, mental health practitioners, support workers and a vocational worker, all of whom are from a variety of professional backgrounds. Our team will be offering young people evidence-based interventions such as psychoeducational work, individual CBT and family therapeutic work aimed at helping our young people and their families to manage their unusual experiences. TIDES practitioners work with small manageable caseloads and hold an integrated approach to the care we provide.</p> <p>Phone calls, teams calls or visits to meet the team and manager are welcomed and encouraged. </p>

  <p>We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Manager to join our Care Team at Shooting Star Childrens Hospices.</p><p>Shooting Star Childrens
Hospices provides specialist care and support to families who have a baby,
child or young person with a life-limiting condition, or whose child has died.
Rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission, we support families across
Surrey, north west London and south west London from diagnosis to end of life
and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and
medical care.</p><p>Our
Care Events Team provide an extensive programme of groups and events for the 800
life limited children, their families and bereaved families. There are themed
family events, social groups for siblings of different ages, pamper days for
mums, counselling groups, bereavement cafe, memorial days and many festive
events such as ice skating at Hampton Court. Taking place at our hospices and
in the communities we serve, there are 5 to 6 events each week, offering important
opportunities for families to make memories together.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The
Care Events Manager is responsible for the delivery and oversight of the annual programme of events. The Care Event Manager
leads the <em>Care Events Team</em>, including an Events Assistant, Events
Management Intern, Counsellor and care events volunteers, and working with family
support workers, childrens therapists and counsellors to deliver an incredible
programme of creative and inclusive experiences. The Care Events Manager works
alongside the Lead Therapist and Lead Counsellor to ensure that family support
at Shooting Star Childrens Hospices is everything the children and families
need it to be.</p><p>At a weekly meeting, the team are made aware of children
and family members who are struggling and think together about where they might
benefit from the opportunity to spend time with others who share similar
experiences or receive group therapy. Utilising professional events management
skills, each event is planned meticulously to be a safe and inviting space.
Providing this opportunity for families is integral to their mental wellbeing.</p>

      <p>The Care Events Manager is responsible for the delivery and oversight of the Care Events Programme for life-limited children, their family members and bereaved family members.</p><p>Wellness events provide a safe space for families to meet others managing similar challenges, access different hospice services, and create family memories together.</p><p>Support groups allow family members to develop a network of support, meeting others in similar roles, for example a dads support group for bereaved dads.</p><p>Therapy groups deliver specialist psychological interventions in a group setting, including counselling, creative therapies, complementary therapies and EMDR (trauma) therapy.</p><p>Working alongside allied health professionals to provide Daily Experiences, a schedule of activities for children and young people at Christophers.</p><p>The planning and delivery of children and young peoples Wishes (bucket list activities they wish to complete with their family).</p><p>The Care Events Manager leads the team delivering events that support around 800 children and their families, enhancing emotional and social wellbeing.
