About NIHCSS

The Norfolk Integrated Housing & Community Support Service (NIHCSS) supports adults with mental health needs across the whole of Norfolk.

We work with individuals to identify and make changes in their lives in order to improve their wellbeing and live as independently as possible in their community.

Due to several of our volunteers moving into paid roles within NIHCSS, we have new and exciting opportunities in our Kings Lynn team.

About you

As a peer supporter, your lived experience of mental distress will be at the heart of your role. You will use your own experience to empathise with and support people, sharing your lived experience, skills and techniques to help our clients identify ways to move forward with their lives.

What we offer you

Training and support from a Peer Support Co-ordinator, on-going learning and development opportunities, access to health and wellbeing support via a dedicated helpline, reimbursement of reasonable out of pocket expenses incurred within your role, the opportunity to move into a paid Recovery Worker or Bank role within NIHCSS if you wish.
