about delivering and promoting maternity care in the acute hospital setting. Support
workers provide care to mothers, birthing people, their newborn infants and

role is integral to the successful deployment of maternity services. </p>

  <p> Maternity Support Workers (MSWs) work in line
with the nationally recognised NHS Maternity support worker competency,
education and career development framework. The successful applicant will be
provided with the appropriate training to meet the requirements of the
framework. </p><p>Support workers in
maternity settings may:</p><p> support the work of registered and non-registered
practitioners</p><p> work under direct or indirect supervision, and/or as

Healthcare Support Worker

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>This is a part time post working 22.5 hours per week for a fixed term of 12 months based at the Stonebow Unit, Hereford. We would consider less hours for the successful candidate but would have to be a
minimum of 15 hours. The salary quoted is pro rata for part time hours.</p><p>We are looking for a motivated individual with lived experience to support our current quality improvement programme on our older adult mental health inpatient wards. The post will be funded via the Royal College of Psychiatry`s Culture of Care Programme.</p><p>This programme aims to improve the culture of inpatient mental health, learning disability and autism for patients and staff so that they are safe, therapeutic and equitable places to be cared for, and fulfilling places to work.</p><p>Integrated Lived Experience takes the form of true co-production, the role focusses on creating a supportive and compassionate atmosphere for both staff and patients. There is an emphasis on developing change ideas in line with the programme alongside the wider MDT and core project team.</p><p>We can offer flexible working and will be supporting the successful applicant with training whilst in post.</p><p>The post is fixed term due to time
limited nature of the funding which will end in

As an integral and highly valued member of our multi-disciplinary team, the Peer Support Worker will provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to service users, empowering them to regain control over their lives and their own unique recovery process.Working collaboratively alongside service users, the Peer Support Worker builds on a person's ability, strengths and their links to social and community services. In the role you will work in partnership with multiple agencies in the community. Peer Support Workers engage with mental health service users to show empathy, share experience, inspire hope and promote recovery with the aim of assisting service users to gain and maintain independence in the community. The Peer Support Worker will assist service users in raising aspirations and developing personal goals, co-produce and co-facilitate groups and increasing individual occupational performance and participation.</p>

  <p>This small, friendly, multi-disciplinary team is based at Arun House in Worthing town centre, due to move into the Worthing Integrated Care Centre (WICC) in April 2025. The service offers support and treatment to people aged 14 - 65 who have experienced either a first episode of psychosis or present with an At Risk Mental State. Practitioners in the team are passionate about their work, and are committed to supporting families and working in a psychologically informed way.</p> <p>The AAW EIP team is one of 6 Early Intervention in Psychosis teams provided by the Trust. The teams have a single service-wide governance group which oversees and leads on the delivery of care. Organizationally, the teams sit within the Trust's Children and Young People's Services division.</p> <p>You will be provided with individual clinical supervision, group supervision for family interventions and opportunities to link with other Peer Support Workers both within EIP and other services for peer support and development.</p> <p>Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health and learning disability services in and across Sussex.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a peer support worker with lived experience to join the the Home Treatment Team/Crisis Team.</p> <p>The post holder is required to work with service users with mental health to promote recovery, support connections and reduce isolation.</p> <p>If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].</p> <p>As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive. </p> <p>An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. The role will be for a Peer supporter for the Memory and Later Life Services based at Lilyhall Business Centre in Workington.</p>   <p>The Peer Supporter role is a vital part of our plan to continually improve the service that we provide. The role is aimed at people with personal lived experience of supporting and having responsibility for a friend or relative with dementia.</p>   <p>The principal role of the post will be to support carers throughout their journey of supporting someone within our services following assessment, through to accessing care and treatment and beyond.</p>   <p>This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a Clinical Team, utilising your personal experience to provide support, validation and hope for people following diagnosis, creating an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of carers and families.</p>   <p>The role focuses on creating trusting relationships whilst supporting carers to manage the challenges and changes that a caring role can bring following a diagnosis and throughout treatment.</p> <p>This will be a challenging, but rewarding role, working with a diverse range of people who are caring for anyone who has new or suspectedmemory problems, including those with a diagnosis of dementia, and people in later life who have anxiety, depression or psychosis made more complex by physical health needs.</p>

We support a wide range of people, including those who are homeless, at risk of losing their tenancy and who have mental health difficulties. You will help service users to identify goals and provide the support they need to reach them. In addition, you will be supporting the service users to organise their finances and promote their independence. You will be completing activities to promote and build self-esteem. <strong>What you'll need to succeed:</strong>Experience in tenancy support, the mental health field, dealing with drug and alcohol abuse, helping people with housing and their benefits is essential. It is important that you can use a caring approach to build trust and strong relationships. It is also essential that you have strong time-management skills to stay on top of your caseload and work collaboratively with others.
