This role has been created to enable the right candidate to advance their career in a more clinically focused way but to still include operational management opportunities.
City and NE Oxon AMHT are a friendly and dynamic integrated mental health team supporting adults with a wide range of mental health conditions.We are looking for experienced clinicians who can make a positive difference to this client group.

Main duties of the job
- Act as an advanced autonomous practitioner, demonstrating a high level of practice/knowledge whilst participating in direct evidenced based patient care working as part of a multi- disciplinary team providing professional and clinical support to patients.
- Undertake autonomous health assessments; diagnosing, treating and discharging patients within own competence. You will provide expert care and treatment to patients within agreed protocols and clinical guidelines.
- Function in a variety of role dimensions: health care provider, educator, researcher, clinical advocate and implementer of clinical governance.
- Be a senior clinician within the team. The role will predominantly be clinical, but also include some operational leadership and supervision to your small team of junior staff
You will clinically lead a small team consisting of newly qualified Nurses, Nurse Associates and Support Workers to provide care and interventions to a complex caseload of patients. This will be as part of a wider team working alongside our primary care networks, supported by both psychiatric and psychological therapy clinicians.
The service is open Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00 not including bank holidays.
