Location: Ofsted-rated Good further education college in Northamptonshire
Salary: £39,900 £44,900 per annum

We re working with a respected college in Northamptonshire who are looking to appoint a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in safeguarding, student welfare and multi-agency collaboration to step into a pivotal role supporting young people and vulnerable adults across the college.
The Role:
You ll lead and support a dedicated team focused on student wellbeing, mental health, and safeguarding. Working closely with external agencies and internal stakeholders, you ll provide timely interventions, manage risk, and help shape college-wide policy. The role also includes delivering staff training, overseeing safeguarding audits, and reporting directly to senior leaders.

What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a safeguarding role, ideally as a DDSL or similar
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practice
- Confident communicator with excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Calm, resilient, and committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Safeguarding qualifications and previous experience in further education are highly desirable
