
Psychological Therapist in CPI
Job summary
We are a small supportive Psychological Therapies team, working across Stroud and Cirencester. We currently consist of two Clinical Psychologists, an Art Psychotherapist, CBT Nurse Therapist and a Clinical Associate Psychologist. We offer a wide range of interventions to people who are working with the Recovery teams (secondary adult mental health).
Applications to this role ae welcome from a wide range of psychological therapy practitioners with an interest in working with people with high levels of complexity, and in particular from therapists with an interest in CBT for psychosis (either trained or willing to undergo training), Arts Psychotherapists and psychodynamically trained therapists.
We have a full time post available and will also consider job sharing or part time hours requests.

Main duties of the job
- To fulfil a comprehensive role as a Practitioner Psychologist or Psychological Therapist within the South locality Recovery teams.
- To assess and treat a specialist workload of clients and maintain associated records.
- To participate in Continued Professional Development and other developmental activities.
- To provide consultation and training to Recovery Teams.

- Post Graduate doctoral level training in Clinical / Counselling Psychology, as accredited by the BPS, eligible for Chartered status and registered as Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC
- Registered core MH professional with a recognised qualification in a psychological intervention with relevant registration such as BABCP.
- Qualified Psychological Therapist with relevant registration (including HCPC-registered Arts Therapists/Psychotherapists)
