NHS Prison Mental Health Counsellor - Band 6

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Counsellor to join the mental health team at HMP Elmley on a fixed-term 12 month contract to cover maternity leave. You will deliver autonomous counselling interventions in a prison setting, following NICE guidelines and stepped-care models.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments and delivering therapy, communicating outcomes to GPs and criminal justice professionals, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to service development.
