Are you an experienced Mental Health Support Worker looking for your next challenge?
We are launching a new supported living flats service in Farnborough, supporting individuals as they transition from hospital and forensic mental health settings into more independent community living.
Your Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide safe, consistent, and person-centred support to residents with complex needs. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting individuals with mental health conditions, self-harm risks, suicide prevention, and behaviours that challenge
Promoting independence and daily living skills (budgeting, cooking, appointments, community access)
Assisting with personal care, medication, and household tasks where required
Using de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations safely and respectfully
Building therapeutic, trusting relationships that promote dignity and empowerment
Working closely with families, professionals, and multidisciplinary teams
About You
We're looking for confident, compassionate, and resilient Support Workers who can demonstrate:
Experience in mental health or forensic settings (essential)
Knowledge of suicide prevention, self-harm awareness, and challenging behaviour management
A calm, empathetic, and professional approach
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to adapt within a dynamic supported living environment
