Part time role = 20.5 hours per week. Shifts take place across the week so you must be available to work Monday - Sunday.

We are looking for a Mental Health Recovery Worker for a residential unit for adults with mental health diagnoses. Your role will include:
- Providing a range of one-to-one support to service users and help them to develop the skills and support networks to enable them to live independently in the community.
- Working as part of an effective team to provide the best quality of support to service users, upholding dignity and ensuring that the support provided is safe, effective and caring.
- Liaising with external agencies (such as CPNs, Social Workers, Community Mental Health Teams etc.) to ensure that service users can access valuable resources and to meet their needs.
- Encouraging service users to contribute to the development of the service and that the service users feel they are partners in their recovery journey.
- Providing information and to support service users on issues on healthy living, financial management,personal care and food hygiene.
- Keeping accurate records on service user progress.

Key skills/experience required for this role:
- A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK in a health & social care setting.
- Care Certificate or Level 2 in Health & Social Care, or a willingness to work towards these qualifications.
- Previous experience of support planning and key working
- A working understanding of legislation and procedures for the protection of vulnerable adults.
- A good level of competency using IT, emails and ability to keep accurate records.
