Job Title: Mental Health Advisor (Registered Mental Health Nurse)

Location: Home-based (Sussex)

Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum + benefits

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday (37.5 hours)

Requirements:

You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC registered) with the right to live and work in the UK.

The Role

As a Mental Health Advisor, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality mental health and wellbeing assessments following occupational health referrals. You will carry out comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments, risk assessments, and use evidence-based tools to support employee wellbeing, performance, and attendance.

You will provide clear, practical recommendations around fitness for work, reasonable adjustments, and onward referrals, producing concise management reports with consent. Motivational interviewing and solution-focused approaches will be key to supporting positive outcomes.

The role is home-based with travel required as needed. Support will be provided to complete an Occupational Health qualification after one year of service.
