We re now seeking Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) and Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLDs) in Tyne and Wear and surrounding areas who are passionate about making a meaningful difference. If you're clinically experienced, compassionate, and committed to trauma-informed care, we d love to hear from you.

What You ll Do

As a Nurse with Muve Homecare, you ll play a vital clinical role in supporting clients with a wide range of needs, including autism, schizophrenia, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and behaviours that challenge. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and overseeing care plans and risk assessments tailored to each client

  • Administering medication and monitoring mental health and physical wellbeing

  • Supporting emotional regulation using trauma-informed and evidence-based practices

  • Implementing PMVA techniques where required to manage risk and maintain safety

  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and other agencies

  • Advocating for clients' rights and choices, and ensuring safeguarding protocols are followed

Who We re Looking For

We re looking for qualified nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality care in community settings. You should have:

  • Experience in mental health or learning disability nursing (community, supported living, or forensic/secure units)

  • A calm, confident approach to managing challenging situations

  • A commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred care

  • Experience working as part of multi-agency teams

  • Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills

What You ll Need

  • Registered Nurse qualification (RMN or RNLD) and valid NMC pin

  • PMVA training (or equivalent) essential

  • Minimum 1 year s post-registration experience

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred but not essential

  • Compassion, resilience, and a proactive mindset
