AA Euro Group are currently seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager on behalf of a leading main contractor who specializes in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects. This is a full-time permanent position based on site in central London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an advisor on all matters relating to Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) and apply professional standards to ensure best practice.
  • Maintain core areas of expertise and impart knowledge to aid the development, training and mentoring of others.
  • Provide HSW advice to managers and project managers to assist them in achieving project objectives.
  • Create, develop and maintain a range of internal/external relationships to maximise impact of expertise and knowledge to influence the quality of decision making, share learning and drive improvements among the Project s supply chain.
  • Advise on and interpret project contractual and statutory requirements and obligations to protect the project s integrity and ensure legal compliance.
  • Establish, develop and maintain relationships with customers, partners and suppliers to assist the achievement of project targets

Technical skills and Competencies:

  • Understanding of H&S standards and the evaluation of compliance therein.
  • Knowledge of H&S Risk Management
  • Able to undertake incident reporting, investigation.
  • Able to undertake performance monitoring and measurement.
  • Proven knowledge of construction techniques and their implications for safety.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of all aspects of construction Health and Safety.
  • Knowledge of occupational health.
  • Knowledge of behavioural safety techniques.

Qualifications, Certifications and Experience:

  • Relevant experience working in a similar role in HSW.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
  • Experience in similar role and industry.
  • NEBOSH accreditation.
