Overview
The role: This is a part time position (22.5 hours per week), working Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, offering the flexibility to balance work and personal commitments.
In this role, you will deliver specialist clinical psychology services, including assessment, formulation, treatment planning, and outcome evaluation.
Working closely with our experienced multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will play a key role in managing risk, guiding treatment, and supporting the overall wellbeing and recovery of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake comprehensive clinical psychological assessments using a range of methods, including file review, interviews, psychometric tests, and behavioural observation.
- Complete clinical formulations and structured professional judgement risk assessments.
- Deliver and evaluate evidence based individual and group interventions.
- Contribute to risk assessment, risk management and treatment planning within the MDT.
- Administer, score and interpret clinical and neuropsychological assessments.
- Produce high quality written reports (e.g. CPA, Tribunal reports) and act as a professional witness when required.
- Support and guide colleagues in delivering psychologically informed interventions.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit, service development and training.
- Maintain HCPC registration, CPD and compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
