Location: Shropshire / Nottinghamshire (with National Travel)

Are you an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse with forensic expertise?
We are seeking a confident and dynamic Forensic Mental Health Nurse Lead to join our supported living services. This is a leadership-focused role with responsibility for conducting comprehensive forensic assessments across multiple locations, including national travel.

Lead and co-ordinate forensic nursing practice across supported living services.

Conduct high-quality, evidence-based forensic risk assessments and clinical evaluations.

Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to a multidisciplinary team.

Contribute to the development, implementation and review of care/treatment plans.

Work collaboratively with external agencies (e.g., commissioning bodies, community services, clinical teams).

Promote best practice in risk management and forensic mental health care.

Support service quality improvement and compliance with relevant standards/regulations.

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current UK NMC registration.

Proven experience in a forensic mental health setting, including conducting assessments.

Strong clinical leadership and communication skills.

Ability and flexibility to travel nationally to undertake assessments.

Sound risk formulation and management capabilities.

Experience in supported living or community forensic care.

Post- registration qualification in forensic mental health or leadership.

Experience of service development or quality governance.
