Summary- Apply evidence informed psychology to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND (0-25)
- Help Dorset Council meet its statutory duties for vulnerable children and those with SEND.
- Work in a strengths based, person centred way with children, young people, parents and carers.
- Collaborate with schools, settings and multi-agency partners to build capacity and promote effective practice.
- Manage your own workload and maintain up-to-date professional knowledge grounded in evidence-based psychology.
- Deliver clear, high quality statutory psychological advice for children and young people aged 0-25.
- Work collaboratively with parents/carers, education settings and wider professionals
- Provide practical, child centred, outcome focused recommendations grounded in sound psychological practice.
