We are looking for a Drug & Alcohol Tester, responsible for the support and delivery of a drug & alcohol service to our client. Providing a professional, high standard of service, conforming to PAM’s standards

Hours of Work

Monday – Friday 40 hours per week, 07.30 to 16.00.

Voluntary Call Out cover Monday-Friday 16.00-18.00 paid as overtime

Accountabilities

Conduct all drug & alcohol testing in line with PAM protocols & procedures

Undertake drug testing service through both oral fluid and urine testing

Undertake alcohol screening - intoximeter

Ensure testing facilities meet PAM’s standard

To assist in health promotion activities

Ensure that all documentation is uploaded to OHIO in the relevant areas in the required time period

Ensure attendance and completion of all mandatory and extra training required.

Store all data in line with Data Protection Principles

Maintaining confidentiality at all times

Ensuring KPI’s are met

Ensuring consistency of service delivery

Monitoring OHIO compliance to ensure that all information is correct and completed.

Ensuring an excellent customer experience

Keep working practices in line with company accreditations including ISO 9001, 27001, SEQHOS and IIP

Ensure all medical equipment is calibrated and safety tested

Providing support to new team members & the wider OH team

Dimensions

The post holder will work with a dedicated client

Induction testing will be as part of a five person team at a dedicated Induction site.

Random and Post-Incident/For-Cause testing will be sole working or a 2 person team when levels allow.

You will be expected to contribute to the business success and work closely with the client and clinicians to ensure delivery of Safe, Effective and Quality Occupational Health service.

You will be expected to work in line with PAM standards to ensure a legally defensible testing service is maintained.

Travelling as part of the role to cover for annual leave and any sickness absence is necessary however PAM will always look to minimise this.

You will use our systems and must have good IT skills using the internet and Microsoft Office software.

The post holder will demonstrate the ability to create solutions to issues and support the PAM culture of providing clear and pragmatic advice and flexibility to cope with dynamic and fast changing client requirements.

Using the escalation and support mechanisms as and when required Contributing to the sharing of best practice in managing occupational health.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in delivering similar services. They will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with proven customer service experience within a business to business sector. Will have a resourceful, strong motivational ability and a commitment to service delivery excellence.
