Job Title: Clinical Psychologist
Location: Leeds
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-time)
Salary: £47,810 - £54,710 Full-Time Equivalent (DOE)
Job PurposeAs a Clinical Psychologist based in Leeds, you will provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to adults with acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and promote positive outcomes for service users.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement rehabilitation plans
- Provide psychological support to service users, families, and carers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service evaluation and audit
- Participate in clinical supervision and professional development activities
- Contribute to safeguarding, risk management, and clinical governance processes
Essential:
- Chartered Clinical Psychologist with HCPC registration
- Experience working with adults with neurological conditions or acquired brain injury
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
Desirable:
- Experience in neuropsychology or rehabilitation psychology
- Familiarity with outcome measurement tools and clinical audit
- Involvement in research, service development, or leadership activities
