Job Summary

As a Children's Support Worker, you will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children with diverse needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges, autism, and learning disabilities. You will assist in developing essential life skills, implement care plans, and foster overall well-being, while upholding the highest standards of care and safeguarding.

Job Type

Full-time (minimum 3 shifts per week)

Experience
  • Essential experience in Residential Children's Homes.
  • Experience supporting children with childhood trauma.
  • Strong childcare experience.
  • Knowledge of child protection and behaviour management.
Skills
  • Valid full driving licence and a reliable vehicle.
  • Flexibility to travel up to an hour to specified locations.
  • Availability for day and night shifts.
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training certificates, PMVA training, and an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.
  • Ability to provide employment references covering the last 3 years.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
